First lady Michelle Obama tells ABC's Barbara Walters that the biggest misconception about her is that she is "confined or trapped" at the White House.
"That couldn't be further from the truth," Mrs. Obama said.
Obama said that she's been able to take on issues that are important to her as well as "travel to see the world." The first lady says she has been "very blessed in this role." Transcript below.
Barbara Walters, "20/20" on ABC News: "What is the biggest misconception about you?"
Michelle Obama: "Someone asked me a question about whether I feel confined or trapped in some way. That couldn't be further from the truth. I couldn't do what Barack does. But I think what I've been able to do; raise my kids, take on issues that matter deeply to me, to travel to see the world. I feel very blessed in this role."

It is instructive that she is so misinformed about our “misconceptions”. No one in the country thinks she is trapped there since she is hardly ever there. She must think we don’t know that.

We were the ones trapped when we were saddled with her queer husband as the terrorist in our whitehouse and Michelle Obama is as bad a First Lady as BHO is as president. The worst in our history and an abomination to freedom loving Americans. Our God gave us the gift of freedom and look at what we did with His gift. What a damned disgrace that pair is! And what a disgrace that Americans put them into office.
Probably ought to check on the White House silverware and china when these two scumbags vacate—along with priceless paintings, antique furniture, and AF1.
Mercifully, I missed this media slobberfest. These people are arrogant, ignorant and downright evil. I feel sorry for the daughters. Their upbringing probably borders on child abuse. Being taught that the world owes them everything. I can imagine 20 years from now one or both of them will be found dead in a gutter somewhere.
