You do not see businesses wishing you a Merry Christmas very much anymore.
Gosh! I almost felt like I needed to watch my back in case the Feds were coming to arrest me while I was watching that—LOL!
Cuter'n a bug !!!
LOL, no kidding! I for one enjoy the return of Christmas, over that “Happy Holidays” nonsense. I enjoy the increasing return of Christ to Christmas, even more. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
What a great example of how things have changed in our culture. Thanks for the post and Merry Christmas!
I know! Right! and her daughter Charley is so adorable with her mother & daddy -Freddie Prinze Jr’s genes.
Elizabeth Shue is joing CSI in February and Lea Thompson’s daughter Zoey Deutch plays SMG’s step daughter on Ringer and is as lovely as her mom.
Here’s another old one:
Miller Lite, 1970’s Classic commercial
Merry Christmas from Miller Lite
John Madden, Bubba Smith, Billy Martin (and more...)
But this ad started all the controversy. :)
The 1982 Christmas ad followed the settlement of the lawsuit.
“Merry Christmas McDonald’s” version December 1982
Sam’s Club just emailed me a very nice “Merry Christmas” card. No pictures of thing to buy, just Merry Christmas and some nice words.
America is busy deporting God and electing a Marxist President..
Oh! and aborting 1.2 million babies a year..
and replacing them with 12 million Mexicans.. or MORE..
Too cute! I never would have recognized her...
I have to say I like the grown up version better.
And since I don’t watch much TV; does Budweiser still run their commercials at Christmas with the Clydesdale wagon?
Or coke’s “I’d like to teach the world to sing”
Very good in “The Saint” with Val Kilmer and very good in “Leaving Las Vegas” with Nicholas Cage. But guess what. The guy she is married to produced and directed “An Inconvenient Truth”. She still seems conservative to me and same for Geller due to being married to Prinze who is for sure conservative
Kinda ironic the hot tempered Martin said, “Peace”.
Here are a few more...
Suzanne Sommers for Ace Hardware - Merry Christmas Commercial 1970s
Cap’n Crunch’s CHRISTMAS CRUNCH - 1988
I always liked this one:
McDonald’s - Ronald McDonald Ice Skating 1980s
Some will probably remember the 7up “Dots” campaign - here’s the Christmas version...
Folger’s “Peter Comes Home for Christmas”
OK — Off to start cooking for dinner! Merry Christmas!
She’s a doll!
Lea Thompson and Elisabeth Shue are Jewish. Sarah Michelle Gellar’s parents were both Jewish, but they always had a Christmas tree when she was a child.
