According to the latest Gallup tracking poll, more Americans approve of the job that President Obama is doing than disapprove for the first time since this summer.

The latest Gallup survey shows that 47 percent of Americans now say they approve of the way that President Obama is handling his job. This is a 5 percent improvement since the Dec. 16-18 Gallup survey and marks the first time the president's numbers have been in positive territory since July. The number of Americans who say they disapprove of Obama's job performance has fallen to 45 percent, down 5 points from Dec. 16-18.

The trend lines are good news for President Obama's team, with his Gallup numbers slowly climbing this month.

Only Boehner could manage to lose the optics to the point that Americans see Obama as the tax cutter and Republicans as the ones wanting to raise taxes.

Quite the accomplishment. Go figure.

You are 100% correct. Plus take a look at the Republican field. Which one of them can beat Obama?
Romney? loses by 5%.
Gringrich? Loses by 10%+
Paul? Loses by 20%
Bachmann? loses by 5&
Santorum? Loses by 7%+
Perry? Loses by 3 - 5%
Huntsman? Loses by default

Obama and the seven Dwarfs.

More likely Hussein’s “surging” approval numbers reported both by Gallup and Rasmussen reflect the number of disapproving voters who were stuck in traffic in shopping malls last week and at church on Christmas and unavailable to be polled. It’s been a holiday week — I’d ignore the polling.

The Republic is finished. As the saying goes, each country gets the leadership it deserves.

This Gallup poll has no credibility whatsoever. They're a leftist outfit and a propaganda arm of the domestic Marxists, aka the DeomoRATS.

This Christmas has been especially gloomy thanks to the Obama regime. Murders have reached an all-time high during what used to be a Joyous Season prior to the Keyan Kommie Klown's economic policies. This very blue, depressing Christmas (children without gifts, meager family meals, widespread unemployment and massive layoffs) will long be remembered by voters in a few months.

Conservatives have a unprecedented opportunity to make the most of this bleak Christmas. Commercials can repeatedly pound home the point that Christmas 2011 was the bleakest on record. And the cause was the usurper and his minions. As Rush Limbaugh pointed out, Obama has been an unmitigated disaster for America. And We the People will well recall these miserable holidays when we raise out voices at the ballot box, repudiating Hussein in a landslide.

He is going to win. The nation is finished. Like I keep saying - its demographics.

Go to any large group of people - wherever it might be - lok around ans ask yourself what the future of this nation looks like.

Scary huh?

The poll was taken by Gallup down at the D.C. Press Club among all the media elite who had gathered there to take part in the annual Hairy Reid and Nancy Polosi “All You Can Drink, Snort or Shoot Winter Holidays party”.

I don’t know how many different survey panels
Gallup has but I am on one of them. Most of their
topics bore the hell out of me but from time to
time they start off by asking a multiple choice
question regarding opinions of Obama’s job perform-
ance.

When GW was pres they would ask me to rate his
performance everytime they sent out a question-
aire. I don’t recall receiving such a question for
BO’s first year as pres. I complained about it when
they contacted me about another issue. Now I am
asked to rate Obama on most surveys.

I believe that when I signed on to do the Gallup
surveys I indicated that I am a Republican. I suspect
that when they are doing a political survey they
pull out X amount of panelists from various stacks
depending on party registration, etc. I don’t be-
lieve I always get picked for political surveys be-
cause I only recall a couple of totally political
questionaires e-mailed over the past several years
and obviously they do much more in the way of poli-
tical polling than that.

I’m sorry but this is crazy, defeatist talk. If you had polled Colonists in 1778 to 1780, you would have gotten even worse predictions for the future of the Colonial rebels. We’re supposed to give up because a few polls have shown Obama’s numbers going up over the last month??

Only 10 percent of the colonial population were actively involved in the revolution, yet they pulled off the most unlikely military win of the past several centuries.

I do not believe that the American spirit if dead. I just don’t. If you think so, keep it to yourself as you are only adding to the problem.

This is not over, not by a long shot. There haven’t even been any actual votes cast in a Republican primary and you are ready to say it’s all over?? Shame on you.

And guess what? Back then there was no welfare, no DHS, no local police outfitted like para-military organization, no media in favor of the communist leftists 24/7 like we have now, no media/education/govt complex, not 50% dependent on the other for everything, no large urban centers with millions of freeloading parasites, surveillance systems with camras, drones, etc.

Again - go to the average sporting event, mall, park, etc and look around and ask yourself honestly where we will be in 25, 50, 100 years.

JUST REMEMBER EVERYONE:

In December, 1979 (11 months before the 1980 election) the Gallup poll had Jimmy Carter leading Ronald Reagan by 24 points.

Maybe many Americans have come to accept this terrible economy as “the new normal”. As long as we can borrow foreign money to pay the unemployment benefits, everyone will be happy.

I’ll be concerned when I see the D/R/I breakout as equal. I’ll bet my life it’s weighted 40/30/30 or some such as it always is when we see reports like this.
