Michelle and I send our warmest wishes to all those celebrating Kwanzaa this holiday season. Today marks the beginning of the week-long celebration honoring African American heritage and culture through the seven principles of Kwanzaa -- unity, self determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith.
We celebrate Kwanzaa at a time when many African Americans and all Americans reflect on our many blessings and memories over the past year and our aspirations for the year to come. And even as there is much to be thankful for, we know that there are still too many Americans going through enormous challenges and trying to make ends meet. But we also know that in the spirit of unity, or Umoja, we can overcome those challenges together.
As families across America and around the world light the red, black, and green candles of the Kinara this week, our family sends our well wishes and blessings for a happy and healthy new year.

Kwanzaa is as all-inclusive as black history month.
Kwanza was created by a black extremist Ron Karenga after his group of street thugs got destroyed after having fought with the Black Panther Party.
After Karenga got out of jail for other charges, he reinvented himself into some kind of black leader, created the holiday, and got a white-guilt job as a professor at a small California college from which he retired after many decades of conning the academic community and his students.
My Kwanza curse for Karenga and the Obamas.

Karenga and Obama - both created frauds on America, but successful ones. The make P.T. Barnum look like an amateur, but at least Barnum didn’t try to destroy his country.
Just a little something on Kwanzaa
He did not. On December 23rd, Obama was joined by his wife in reading this political promotion off the teleprompter.
No, Christ was not mentioned other than as part of the word Christian; there was an implied reference about something happening 2000 years ago that brought redemption. Queen Elizabeth’s Christmas greeting was much more concerned with Who Christmas is about.
