BREWSTER – The woman who allegedly mailed a hoax weapon of mass destruction package to State Senator Gregory Ball’s regional office last month has been shot and killed by police in Georgia, a spokeswoman for Ball’s office said Monday. He is the chairman of the state Senate’s Homeland Security Committee.
Ball spokeswoman Brittany Oat said Jameela Barnette was killed on Christmas day when a police officer for the Cobb county Police responded to the Bexley Apartments in Marietta and was assaulted by Barnette shortly after he opened the door.
Officer shot the woman, later identified as Barnette, who died at the scene, police said.
She was armed with a knife and gun, police said.
According to the FBI in Atlanta, Barnette was arrested and indicted on federal charges last month for her role in mailing the hoax weapons of mass destruction package to Ball’s office. The package wound up containing perfume.
Barnette allegedly sent a package with pig’s feet to Congressman Peter King’s Office. He is chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee.

Why don’t you just man up and apologize for your knee-jerk reaction before knowing the facts?
Inasmuch as she is described as a converted muzzie, it seems unlikely she would a.) obtain pigs feet (you can get them in GA grocery of course and b.) touch them w/ or w/out gloves to box them up— and still be islamically “clean”.
Unless she told her self it was jihad (or let’s find her imam and see what he told her), in which she is absolved of any “sin” because she is a warrior.

So let’s see if I’ve got this right - A cop, working on Christmas Eve, gets dispatched to a panic alarm at an apartment. He (or she, unsure) arrives, goes to the apartment and is attacked by a woman with a knife and a gun. The officer, under attack by an armed person, uses deadly force to stop the attack.

He “responded”, which to me means there was a 911 call placed by the woman to lure him there. Journalists these days have to writing skills to communicate the facts with. They are pathetic.

No, it happened on Christmas morning, again, the media got it wrong!
We get 911 calls all the time, we open the door to look for a patient. Usually we find one who cannot get to a door. Sometimes we send the police in first. Depends on the neighborhood. In my state a group of EMS providers went into a residence met the patient, he requested a minute to get something in the other room, it was granted, he came out with a gun shooting at them....they ran for their lives. One was dead afterwards. Believe me, EMS and police do NOT want to open a door and walk in to an ambush, but it is the job.

Yeah, abot six weeks before my wife passed away I called EMS because my wife was having problems breathing. When they got here at the house one of the EMS was chiding my wife if she was really sick or just wanted an ambulance ride. Thank goodness the other EMT’s dragged her to the side cuz I was just about ready to do the same damn thing.
