Scott Brown haters, consider the alternative
Boston Herald ^ | 12/28/11 | Howie Carr

I’d like to address a question to all the people I hear from who tell me how bad U.S. Sen. Scott Brown is, how he’s a turncoat, sellout, backstabbing, snake-in-the-grass Republican in Name Only (RINO).

My question is, if Scott Brown is so damn liberal, how come the Democrats already are spending millions upon millions of dollars to knock him out of the Senate next year?

Granted, I don’t think there are that many of these Brown haters out there, but they are way overrepresented in the universe of talk-show radio callers. When the first words out of their mouths are “Dodd-Frank,” you know you’ve got another hot one on your hands.

OK, Brown voted for Dodd-Frank. Are you telling me you never made a mistake?

You say he votes with the Democrats all the time? I beg your pardon. You can look it up — he’s voted with the GOP leadership 75 percent of the time. By contrast, John Forbes Kerry has voted with the Democrat leadership 97 percent of the time.

Let’s go down the list.

• Brown voted against Harvard moonbat Elena Kagan for the Supreme Court.

•  He voted against Berkeley moonbat Gordon Liu, who makes Elena Kagan look like Anthony Kennedy, for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

• He voted to repeal Obamacare.

• He opposed the DREAM Act, another handout for illegal aliens.

• He opposed cap-and-trade, which is, if possible, even more insane than Obamacare.

• He voted against the second “stimulus” — a thinly disguised payoff to the public-sector pinky ring thug unions.

• He slammed Harvard for keeping ROTC off campus while rewarding illegal aliens who engage in identity theft.

All you Brown haters, have you forgotten the unique circumstances of his election? Two years ago today, you could have gotten 10-1, and plenty of it, that Marsha Coakley would be the next senator. The turnout was a small fraction of what it will be in November’s election, and despite Marsha’s historically abysmal campaign, he still only won 52-47.

Next year is going to be a tough fight. Would you prefer someone who’s with you 75 percent of the time ... or 3 percent?

And now the moonbats have settled on one of their own. Professor Elizabeth Warren is just so ... perfect. She’s a carpetbagger, from Oklahoma. And she teaches at (prepare to swoon) Harvard Law School. Yes, the home of Obama, Kagan and Patrick. What could possibly go wrong?

You know that she bragged about providing the “intellectual foundations” to the filthy Occupy vermin who defecated on New York City police cars. More recently she said, “I don’t want to go to Washington to be a co-sponsor of some bland little bill nobody cares about.”

Nobody except the person who asks you to write a letter to the U.S. Naval Academy on behalf of their son. Or who needs some help getting Social Security for their aunt.

This state already has one preening narcissist in the Senate. Do we really need another legend-in-her-own-mind limousine liberal?

I know, it’s early, but all you Brown haters, be careful what you wish for. Do you really want six years of buyer’s remorse?

Of course I will vote for Brown over Warren but the assertion that Voting for Dodd Frank was just a mistake that any of us could have made is dead wrong. In my opinion Dodd Frank had a more immediate devastating effect on the economy than Obama care. Brown voted for the bill knowing full well that he was handing Obama appointees unprecedented powers over the free market.

I don’t trust Brown’s instinct or judgment. But Elizabeth Warren is downright frightening.

Of course it is crap.

It is an article written by RomneyBOT Howie Carr
who lives for Mitt Romney and his toadies
such as Scott Brown.

Scott Brown does not deserve to be a Senator.
He is a proven liar to his supporters.

Now,now. Don’t use reason and logic to solve a problem, better wait for ObamAllah and the other Stalinist Democrats to regain complete and uncontested control of Congress and the White House to carry out their Five Year Plans.

/s if needed.

For the same reason Stalin had an ice pick stuck in the back of Trotsky's head.

Socialist tyrants hate competition. Even from other socialists.

Carr is an unprincipled dolt.

I'll take a "liberal" like Brown over a "conservative" like Little Bobby Casey or Bart Stupak any day.

If only we had more Scott Browns in The Senate.

You'd prefer more Ted Kennedys?

I don’t care about Scott Brown. He does not care about the Tea Party, either. So everybody’s happy.

Not true. he said on Howie’s show he would be an independent voice, would not always vote with party. Meanwhile the ad the Dems ran against him said “Who is Scott Brown, really? A Republican (said as if it were “Nazi”). Who will vote in lockstep with the Republican party.

They meant 100 per cent. OK, so he’s voted 75 per cent GOP.
Sometimes he votes Dem, but I would rather have someone who votes 75 per cent our way than 0 per cent our way. Sorry, I can’t picture Warren voting with the Republicans AT ALL.
Here is the deal: You have an opportunity to primary him.
Last time that happened, the other guy, Jack E. Robinson,
won 1 town out of 351. 1 town. And Brown has a huge warchest. If you think you can get a more conservative candidate than him, go for it. Good luck.

This is Mass. we’re talking about.

With Ben Nelson retiring there’s a chance the GOP could grab control of the Senate. You’re going to risk losing that chance by letting the moonbats back in?

The election comes down to Brown vs. Warren. If you stay home or vote third party, you are in effect voting for Warren.

You would be a conservative for Warren.

Better yet write in Barney Frank. Senator Barney Frank. Yes he decided not to run for his district after re-districting but we can’t have that Rethuglican Brown again. Don’t like
Brown? Vote Warren or Frank, Comrade.

A vote against Brown (or stay at home) supports moonbats. Do you want a quarterback that will give you a 13-3 record or a 0-16?

It is an interesting dilemma. The GOP is in love with a Rino mentality and is adverse to conservative (Republican) ideals and reform, but Rinos guarantee the GOP a permanent minority status in the Congress.

We have been here before - for forty years - before Reagan and before Newt's contract with America reform election. The Rinos hated that reform. Rinos are back in full control of the GOP and it is why the GOP have been a permanent minority party again. They don't care. They like being a minority wing of the Dem party. Like Dems, they like attacking and defeating conservative Republicans. They did it for forty years and hated Reagan and Newt for making the party a majority with a conservative reform agenda. They liked Obama winning the election, too.

When Rinos lose, it is the fault of Rinos, not conservatives. Scott Brown had no mathematical reason to to make a big show of stiff arming the Tea Party (i.e. Reagan Democrats who woke up to elect him) like he did. Rinos are a minority and don't win elections. Liberals vote for dems. Scott should have had a calculator. If he loses this election, it is by his own design.

No. I'd prefer more Pat Toomeys and Rand Pauls.

But, alas, Massachusetts with all its vaunted educational institutions can't produce an electorate intelligent enough to get a Pat Toomey or Rand Paul elected to office.

Such is life.

Scott Brown is the enemy. Period.

So go ahead, find a Massachusetts equivalent of Christine O'Donnell and run her against Brown.

Let me know how that works out for ya.

It is not about what the backstabbing Romney toad, Brown,
said. It is about what he has DONE.

Scott Brown screwed every single conservative that
supported HIM, but whom he then
voted against OVER and OVER.

Benedict Brown.

Only Howie Carr and Mitt Romney support him.
