Any word on Kim Jong-Il?
Actually, they’re different sources and articles, so it’s not a dupe.
The picture was worth clicking on the story. Wow, I wonder how they got by the censors?

Man that’s a shame. He would’ve been a better president than obama.
Bogus article considering the lifespan of a Chimpanzee is 60 years.
Not an exact Dupe but sheer BS...
Cheeta, a male chimpanzee born about 1960, formerly owned by Tony Gentry and now residing at the C.H.E.E.T.A. Primate Sanctuary (Creative Habitats and Enrichment for Endangered and Threatened Apes) in Palm Springs, California. Claimed by Gentry to have been born in 1932 or later in the 1930s and to have portrayed Cheeta in most of the Johnny Weismuller and Lex Barker Tarzan films, and for that reason long celebrated as the longest-lived chimpanzee. Both claims were debunked by journalist R. D. Rosen in 2008 in an article that settled the animals true age and established that he had not appeared in any movies, let alone in the role of Cheeta.
Damn. I just saw that monkey a month ago..
There was more than one Cheetah is what they told me at the monkey farm last month.
This was in the days before the Hays Code was truly enforced, in the early 1930s. There’s footage of a Tarzan movie (”Tarzan and His Mate,” 1934) out there with an extended underwater scene featuring a Maureen O’Sullivan body double, completely nude. It’s not graphic, because the camera is fairly distant, but it’s pretty clear that Jane’s skinny-dipping. It wasn’t until about 1935 that they started clamping down.

Considering that the oldest known living chimp (Gregoire) died a few years back at age 66, this article becomes even more incredulous.
Annette had bigger hands. I love hands.
I remember seeing that movie on the Saturday Tarzan Theater on TV and hoping my mom wouldn’t come into the room.
RIP...
