Skip to comments. The Retooled, Loose Romney, Guessing Votersí Age and Ethnicity (often guesses wrong)

When Mitt Romney introduces himself to voters, he has a peculiar habit of guessing their age or nationality, often incorrectly. (A regular query: Are you French Canadian?)
When making small talk with locals, he peppers the conversation with curious details. (We stayed in the Courtyard hotel last night, he told a woman at a diner. Its a LEED-certified hotel.)
And when he encounters a question he particularly dislikes, he smiles politely and behaves as if it never happened. (Will you put Ron Paul in your cabinet? a man asked. The candidate turned away, inquiry left unanswered.)

Lots of people would like to put Ron Paul in a cabinet. And throw away the key. Come on Mitt, why walk away from a softball?
He reminds me more of Man-Bear-Pig with every succeeding day.
So the tool retools. That’s what tools do...
Face up to it. Romney is awaiting his “TURN” a la Dole and McCain. He will not make any large waves and will wait to take his place among the other Republican losers that the Elite put up to insure a national slide into 3rd world socialism and to protect their own positions of power and plenty. CWII seems to be on the horizon.
I always thought of him as John Kerry-like. Substitute the constant referencing of saving the Olympics for serving in Vietnam and they seem pretty similar to me. Wooden robots always pining to be President.
I want someone who understands that the Constitution is a vital part of this Nation and will protect and defend it. Not someone who will pay lip service while making end runs around constitutional intent.
My thought as well. Good analogy.
