Eric Holder: More cops slain by illegal guns

The number of officers killed in the line of duty jumped 13 percent in 2011 compared with the year before - and U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder condemned the increase as “a devastating and unacceptable trend” that he blamed on illegal firearms.

The number of deceased law enforcement officers rose to 173 killed in the line of duty this year, from 153 in 2010, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund announced Wednesday. This year’s figure is 23 percent higher than the 122 killed in the line of duty in 2009.

Mr. Holder is full of $hit! Considering there are close to 900,000 local, State and Federal law enforcement officers in the US, an increase of 9 firearms-related deaths is statistically insignificant. In fact, the total of 173 law enforcement deaths versus 900,000 would indicate that law enforcement is a relatively safe job.

By contrast, there were a total of 27 fewer firearms-related deaths of law enforcement officers in 2008 versus 2007. I don't recall the DOJ bragging about the 40% decrease back in 2008.

Again, given the total number of US law enforcement personnel the 27 decrease in 2008 is statistically insignificant.

They can’t stop, the plans they have for this country aren’t possible until they can find a way to disarm us. If Zero is reelected I suspect the number one domestic priority will be shutting down the second amendment, one way or another.

Police officers are no more important than citizens and do not deserve special treatment.
