US twins give birth minutes apart
Friday, December 23, 2011 » 07:05am

Twin sisters in New Jersey have given birth to their first children just minutes apart in the same hospital.

Danielle and Nicole Fisher were in adjacent rooms, and the boys were born 13 minutes apart on Tuesday night.

The women had been born within 12 minutes of each other 23 years ago.

The boys will grow up to be close cousins. Sort of cool in a way. My godmother gave birth to her last child a few minutes after her daughter gave birth to her first. So, the “uncle” was younger than the “nephew”. Those two boys grew up essentially like brothers (they never called each other Uncle or Nephew)

I don’t think I’ve ever seen such high foreheads as on these two women.
They need to wear bangs or something.

Did they coordinate their “family planning” with each other, you know, a telephone call from one to the other to get the husbands in bed?

From the. You are not going to believe this, but I sold twin ladies a home years ago, the were married and all four shared the same bedroom. Had a hard time trying to find a home with a master bedroom they liked.

Were their husbands twins too?

Identical twins have been known to do some strange things.

In high school I knew identical twin girls who shared a boyfriend. He was convinced that he was dating only one of them -- they even had synchronized their menstrual cycles, and kept the same social calendar. The one who was "officially" his girlfriend would let her twin sister "sub" for her when she felt like taking a night off but didn't want to disappoint her beau. It got somewhat more complicated as time went on, of course...

They let him in on the fact that they were tag-teaming him eventually. He dealt with it well, I think -- he asked them if they would consent to both being his girlfriends, in the open. The girls decided that since he was a nice guy, and obviously cared for them, they'd go along with that as an experiment (this was the 60's, after all).

They were very pretty girls, too. So he had a blast...

Last I heard they were still at it, but that was 1970. I have no idea how it worked out eventually.

Those aren't foreheads. They are at least fiveheads.

Dated ONE twin once. Walked up to her sister and said, "Hey, I called you last night but you didn't answer."

Everything seemed to all go downhill from there.

Hey, it was an honest mistake. One that I'll probably end up making again...

It was the very first thing I thought. But I was a bit more creative with the possible situation at the time of insemination. ;)

That happened to my mom and her mother. I was my mom's firstborn, and my grandmother had my aunt (her last baby) about six months later.

I called her "aunt", even when we were kids. Still do.
