Calvin Coolidge was one of our best presidents and he was criticized for doing nothing. The less the politicians do the better off the public is.
I agree he was one of our best presidents. His correct belief was go keep silent (hence “silent Cal”) and let everyone else yammer as they pleased. He just kept his mouth shut and did what he had had to do as president. This drove everybody nuts because of his silence.
