“Jailschool” is a term that might catch on, but in any case is getting increasingly more appropriate.

Its too late to save them. Shut em down and start over with empty buildings from scratch and make teachers independent contractors.

When I was in high school in, I think 1968, I was sent home with a form for my parents to fill out. The form wanted to know, among other personal data, how much our family income was. My parents refused to fill it out and I was sent home again with the form to tell my parents “they must fill it out.” I was told by my mother, “We’re not seeking any government help. It’s none of their business.” I softened the language a bit and turned the form in again. I was called out of class to the principal’s office and told I had to supply this information. When I told them the un-softened version, the office clerk told the one dealing with me, “We can’t turn it in that way, just put down $12,000.” So, she did, right in front of me.

I sense that things have gotten a lot worse and a lot more intrusive today. In my opinion, the entire school system is broken, or, perhaps subverted is a better word.

“I sense that things have gotten a lot worse and a lot more intrusive today.”

There actually not in terms of that information; I’ve sent back forms with blank sections (and they weren’t even as intrusive as yours) and nobody has said anything.

When my youngest was starting school some administrator told me he should see a dentist before starting. Knowing that some immunizations were requirements (which had been specifically spelled out earlier), this was new to me; I asked if this was the law in NJ, and this stupid b!tch repeats that he SHOULD see a dentist before starting school. Sensing the nanny-state nonsense, I pressed further until the Nazi conceded that it was a suggestion (he’d been to one already anyway, but I don’t take parenting advice from useless public servants).

We don’t have free breakfasts or bilingual education in my district, but these workfare cows would just love it. Fortunately, our towns and state are out of money, so the “nanny-state” is being pared back a bit.

I just pulled my 5 year old out of public school kindergarten 2 weeks ago after his teacher told us the school priority is “social tolerance”. This was their answer to our outrage at repeated problems from a special needs child's outbursts of spitting & kicking on our son & other students. Public school has spiraled out of control.

Most people won’t. They like the “free” babysitting and are willing to put their kids through a lot in order to get it.

Many schools in our inner cities should be prison camps.

What a splendid example of having been in another universe these past 4-decades...Morons, like the author, just now coming to these kinds of conclusions are precisely why it is far too late to do anything about this well-concieved strategy of conquest from within. Had te article been written in the early 1980's it might have meant something...Just saying...

When the long-term retrospective history is written, it will be the parents, since 1975 or so, who have committed their offspring to these government asylums who will be judged having the final criminal reponsibility for the Nation's destruction.

We are lucky in NJ to find a high standard school. Many government schools are low standard PC indoctrination centers and I always look out for shenanigans. The problem with my kid’s school is the union teachers who are obnoxious.Always bitching about this and that as our town is hurting in Obama’s America.

Communists approach is to brain wash the youth including college level. They have been doing this for many years and part of the eligible voters from this reeducation centers got King Obama elected.
