The thing that comes through about Gov. Perry is: He's one of us. He doesn't think he's better than we are. He hasn't forgotten his humble beginnings, and it shows in how he relates to real people. He's been my candidate from the get-go, and I agonized when he stumbled. But he picked himself up, dusted himself off, and waded back into the fray.

God bless him and his family - I hope and pray that this good man becomes our President in 2012. How wonderful it will be to have his lovely Anita as our First Lady.
