Why our president fails
The Washington times ^ | 12/28/2011 | Dr. Milton R. Wolf

There’s something profoundly tragic about the failed presidency of Barack Obama. He was supposed to be a new kind of president, a man who embodied hope and would transcend petty politics and even race. Instead, we’re left with a downgraded America that is stagnating under the weight of its bloated government. As tragic as that alone is, even this is but a mere symptom of Mr. Obama’s larger fundamental failure: He simply does not trust the Americans who entrusted him with the presidency.

Most presidents, we believe, ascend to the Oval Office, but for the 44th president, the reverse seems true. Whatever majesty the White House can muster must rise to the grandiosity of Barack Obama. “We are the ones we have been waiting for,” said the man who writes autobiographies and later would claim to control the rise of the oceans.

As recently as this month, the food-stamp president of 13 million unemployed Americans declared himself the fourth-most-accomplished president in the history of the United States, eclipsing, in his own mind, President Reagan and even our nation’s father, George Washington. That in only three years. Barack the Magnificent won’t allow trivialities like $15 trillion debts or historic national credit downgrades dissuade him.

Dictator wannabe. If he wins a second term he and the Mooch will be in full dictator mode until he is finally impeached.

Anyone else getting a Howard Hughes kind of vibe from all this?

Yes! That’s it. His public persona sounds nothing like he really is. These are the kind that go off their rocker. Always trying to be something they aren’t.

Obummer won’t lose the election.

He can’t win, God willing. Americans are waking up to his madness and mistakes, so I doubt he can attract enough votes to “earn” another term in the time-honored fashion.

But he sure as hell won’t accept losing. And that scares me.

Time to finalize preparations for the Bad Times ahead. We all know he (and his backers) would do ANYTHING to hold power. Time to finish stocking up, pick up a few more boxes of ammo, print out all the useful info that my computer is now holding for me and maybe learn a new skill, such as blacksmithing or medicinal herbs.

Time’s up, kiddies. This is the year we’ve been dreading for so long.

P.S. — Sitting around in his underwear all day, reading People magazine and watching TV all day. That sure sounds like somebody who had a “bone” for breakfast, ya think? And his handlers take care of all the details? Hmmm.

He has a skinny wrist, and doesn’t know that he could remove a link to make it work. You don’t have to be a sissy to do that. Being geeky will suffice.

Your math is off on the national debt by a tillion dollars.... its much worse than anyone even realizes and unless the GOP nominee can adequately describe the coming collapse of American under the Obama massive debt than the country is done. The correct campaign needs to paint the bold differences between Marxist Progressive Communism and Free Market capitalist Conservatism.

He has been hugely successful at all those things wherein we were hoping he would fail. He has succeeded wondrously at the main task set for him by the handlers who put him in office and that task is to encourage and hasten the destruction of the United States of America. To call him a failure as so many do is to indulge the fantasy that he ever intended to do anything positive. I have unearthed no evidence whatsoever to indicate that the creature has ever spent one minute devising ways to improve the lives of Americans. To believe that he has ever intended to do anything positive for America is equivalent to believing in the Great Pumpkin.

‘This display of Obama’s narcissim in the White House__________________’

Just darn - didn’t pay enough attention to all the details written here, when I saw the White House model at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, CA, a year or so ago.

Our (I say in the collective possessive sense since he won the election) President is just simply a man of words that his constituents want to hear. His actions, however, are those primarily aimed at net taxpaying-Americans, not his slackers. If he were to put words to his intended actions prior to his immaculation, he would not have been elected.

Our grandfathers, who stood against evil and shed their blood to stop it, never would have tolerated their own government becoming so totalitarian that it would dictate to them what car they should drive, what (if any) health insurance they should choose or even what light bulb they should buy. Has our generation been worthy of earlier Americans’ sacrifices? Or have we surrendered their hard-fought victories in return for false promises of a big-government utopia that never materializes? Look no further than the politicians we elect.

In a large sense, I reject the author's liberal use of the pronoun "We."

I served this country for over 20 years in the military. I fought in 3 wars. I never voted for these totalitarian politicians. I have always paid my own way.

We live in a fallen world - a world of evil. I get to the point where I have to realize that evil is marching on a path to its own destiny, and there is nothing I can do to stop it. Things are going to get worse. Antichrist will rise. Persecution will become absolutely horrible. And the wrath of God on this earth will someday reach a crescendo unlike anything in human history.

Not MINE either. I wish the GOP had the gonads to run this video clip non-stop. I think this shows exactly who he is and what he is.

It’s crystal clear where he stands and where his cold, evil heart is:
