"Okay. It is now officially crunch-time for conservative voters. Time for them to grow-up, stand on principle, admit there is not a perfect candidate, cast aside the pretenders, flip-floppers, and flakes, and unite behind the most genuine traditional values espousing candidate in the field. That being Texas governor Rick Perry."
RICK PERRY 2012
Spot on. Perry tastes good upon first sampling but a belly full will have you puking guts by morning.
Nope to subsidized tuition.
And you probably already know that.
They pay full tuition fees.
Really? You don’t know that already? Or are you trying to spin stuff?
If you don’t like Perry, just say so. But don’t make stuff up.
YES!!!
I agree.
Isn't Douglas MacKinnon Bob Doles press secretary? I don't generally care what the Dolites have to say about anything Conservative. Especially one who writes at Huff Po regularly.
He is still a fine man and governor but this nation has big problems and the media is in the tank for our Mulatto Mussolini.
Did or did not Rick Perry give subsidized tuition to illegal aliens in Texas.
How’d ol’ pointy toes do that, by EO?
Buddy Roemer. I always seem to omit that lil e.
Oh, goody! You solved it for all of us!
Thanks for your insight!
I hope I’m wrong...but you see where hope has gotten us.
Perry is gonna come in 5th tomorrow.
I suspect this is one of the many rotten fruits of the McCain/Feingold campaign reform.
Corporations are denied their free speech rights under McCain/Feingold and candidates are left to do fundraisers themselves.
It is not accident that Mittens in 2008 and 2012 and the gigolo McCain in 2008 were the predominate candidates in the years they were running for the presidency.
McCain and the Messiah are the two people most linked with the possible dissolution/destruction of America. And maybe in just a year and a half's time, too.
Watch Rick Perry use subliminal messages to get voters to vote for... Mitt Romney???

Texas created > 45% of ALL the US' jobs. Without Texas' jobs, the US would be SERIOUSLY in the tank rejobless-ness.
He's spent >$400,000,000 of Texas' money to protect the border. But you're right...he doesn't have the IQ to be a fine president

I like Perry very much, but so far my state’s GOP says I’m only permitted to choose between a nutcase and their preferred RINO. :-(
Perry’s the definition of an “insider.” Most Texan FReepers called him “Governor Good Hair” during the last gubenatorial election of Texas and bemoaned his liberal policies. They mentioned how they had to continually keep his feet to the fire, my memory is not so short as to forget that.
I realize there’s a half dozen Perry groupies who have the gang mentality, but fortunately Perry still polls around “None of the above.” Maybe they want him to win because they’re tired of him, there, in their own state. Who knows? I’m grateful they’ll soon only be whining about how much better off we’d have been “if only” listened to them. That way I don’t have to worry about what pay-for-play Perry will do to us for the sake of money, perks and praise.
Oddly, I had thought that this article would have been about Santorum (which I looked forward to reading). I have things about Santorum which I dislike, but at least he doesn’t a long list of unethical and pandering executive actions for us to pretend we can’t see. No one is perfect in this race, but few are worse than “Whoopsie” Rick Perry.
The first name that popped in my head when I read the title was Santorum.
