"I'll point at my record, and I the nice thing about New Hampshire for instance we looked at the Tea Party voters. Those who identify themselves as Tea Partiers and said, 'Who's your favorite candidate?' I have a good lead with Tea Partiers and people who consider themselves very conservative. So where I'm known pretty well, where my record is pretty well known, why I have very good support from very conservative Tea Partiers," Mitt Romney said when asked how he will make his closing argument to conservatives.

Romney apparently called Gingrich a liar.
Gingrich apparently replies ‘you are lying.’
So, which liar is really lying, or is this entire lying episode just a big lie?

Maybe they need Lawrence "You lying liar!" O'Donnell to mediate!

Sure, Mitt. We especially love the socialized medicine you established in Mass., and appointing Planned Parenthood as an official participant in the plan. We Tea Partiers just love that stuff.

Quit lying.

French is probably more native to him than English what with all the time he spent in France... dodging the draft during the Vietnam war years.

Don’t forget about his permanent assault weapon ban and his draft dodging-that kind of thing is totally representative of tea party conservatives. all kidding aside, it will be once this douche bag gets the nomination.

If he has to SAY SO, then he doesn’t. If he did, it would have already been obvious.

As the nominee against Obama, Romney’s support among “very conservative” Tea Partiers would be tepid at best: the lesser of two evils.

His [ MITT ROMNEY ] supports for a weak dollar policy — especially relative to the Chinese yuan.

(Dio - You might consider adding to your list.)

I agree that this other article highlights that this is one of the MITT ROMNEY weak spots.

That statement adds credence to Gingrich’s claim that mitt the twit is a liar.

I hope folks bring a copy of this to the caucuses tonight....

America's Ruling Class -- And the Perils of Revolution By Angelo M. Codevilla from the July 2010 - August 2010 issue

....and make it a topic of discussion.

It’s more important conservatives are elected to the House and Senate. Put your energy there. Third Parties elect Dems.

I made no mention about a third party, but to think that the GOP cares anything about conservatives beyond their votes is ludicrous.

Third Parties elect Dems.

We ceased having two major parties some time ago.

So why even worry about a third party at this point?

That’s what the Tea party is about. Incremental change. The entire government bureaucracy is filled with lifetime Big Government Democrat voters. While electing a conservative President would be a good thing, I don’t see it changing much for the long term.

I agree. That’s why the Dems and Rinos are trying to triangulate the Tea Party out of existence.
