You have answered my dominant military question exactly as I would expect from someone who would vote for Paul. And THAT is why he is so dangerous and unelectable. First, because he has such wacky naive isolationist ideas and second, because he can actually get people to listen to him.

Who are American’s enemies?

Is the enemy a bunch of Muslims on the other side of the world, who are attacking us because warmongers have deliberately set out to antagonize them, who were never a problem for the United States before we started to constantly intervene in their region, or is the real enemy the federal government in Washington which fleeces us of our wealth, sells us into debt slavery to Chinese bondholders, sues states like Arizona and Alabama in league with Mexico, and leaves our own borders open to a real hostile invasion?

Why can’t the government simply exclude Muslim terrorists from immigrating here? Why does it allow Muslim terrorists to enter our country? Why does it allow Muslim terrorists to establish colonies here in our own cities?

Wouldn’t the easiest way to deal with the Muslim terrorist problem be simply to exclude them from the United States? Why can’t we do that?

Most young people don’t think a gazillion dollars should be squandered on a neocon pipe dream like bringing “dumocracy” or “women’s rights” to Iraq and Iran.

This is a good attitude for a world power to have WHEN IT IS IN DECLINE. Our youth for the most part have been brainwashed, but you'd think with a little effort and the internet they could de-brainwash themselves. But alas no, they spend all day on"social" web sites.

Hi Onyx...I haven’t been tuned into this...decided I wasn’t going to listen to Fox or any other media this night...will await the results otherwise.

Sickening Paul has amuzed the youth vote as did Obama and they still haven’t learned...but of course Paul is just to the left of Obama..and not just in foreign policy either....I will say again Paul has his supporters deceived under the mask of the constitution he flaunts.. and they’re buying it.

Well said! So tired of young punks bashing retired seniors who have worked their whole lives paying into SS only to see meager returns during their old age. Do they think this monthly stipend is a free handout?? How naive.

And of course, it’s a whole lot less than it could be after taxes and Medicare is deducted. Wish youngsters would learn there is no free lunch.

Santorum versus Romney. Romney has NH locked up. Santorum needs to head down South ASAP.

Reporting from my local Precinct, B42 (Bettendorf)

Romney 95
Santorum 45
Gingrich 36
Paul 30
Bachmann 4
Huntsman 4
Perry 4
None of the above 1

No one spoke for Bachmann or Huntsman, the rest all had speakers. I dug out our 2008 results for comparison:

Rudy 10
Huck 48
Hunter 1
McCain 34
Paul 7
Mitt 77
Fred 14

So attendance was up, 229 to 191; even up if you discount the Paul numbers.

Amazing. Based on these East IA totals, Romney’s going to finish 3rd. Santorum is performing stronger than Huckabee in East IA and Paul is outperforming with the young people there. Romney is clearly 3rd. Santorum is not being as hurt by Paul as Romney is.

I’m starting to believe Bachmann/Perry, and even some Gingrich supporters in the East counties coalesced around Santorum. He or Paul is going to win. Romney will be 3rd if these numbers hold up.

It’s a product of many things: negligent parenting, corruption in the media, and let’s not forget our stellar colleges and public schools.
