We don't need to teach no steenking math or science when we can teach Progressive Politics.
Under my rule in Savageania the administrators would be offered a blindfold and any last words. Boy, lucky for them I haven’t taken power yet!

If you do a quick intermet search for “barack hussein obama mmmm mmmm mmmm” it is frightening how many NEA/Union teachers have participated in coarse, raw, and unabashed political indoctrination with students.

Occupy Movement taught in sixth grade??
...the boys mother, knowing all too well that the OWS movement is anything but peaceful (considering the hundreds of rapes, assaults, and other violent crimes that have occurred during the movement), voiced her concern by emailing the teacher after the third day of classroom discussion. Not surprisingly, the teacher did not reply.
After five days of her son coming home and reporting that the discussion/activities had continued, Mom contacted the principal, who was very responsive and amicable. A meeting with the teacher was arranged, in which the teacher explained that he never intended to offend anyone and that the classroom discussions concerning OWS were student initiated (even though the teacher had originally asked for current examples of peaceful protest, and handouts with discussion questions were distributed).
When mom asked why the Tea Party movement was not also being discussed in class, the teacher responded with several excuses, one being that he didnt want it to get political. As if the OWS movement isnt political! He also said that the Tea Party is a political party. When momwho happens to be her countys Tea Party coordinatorcorrected him, he retorted that the Tea Party gets funding. Not only is this assumption ridiculous, its actually quite the opposite, as I learned from the mother that her Tea Party group has actually turned away large donations from individuals within the group.

"They don't censor what the kids write. They don't shape what the kids write. It all comes out of the kids own mouths and the kids own words," said Albemarle County School Board Chair, Steve Koleszar.
While school board positions are non-partisan, two candidates have received the endorsement of the Albemarle County Democratic Committee: Scottsville incumbent Steve Koleszar reflected on what it takes to keep Albemarles public schools ...
And could you have The Party taken out and shot? Understand this: as the military struggle draws to a close, the political struggle intensifies. This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
