Voting for Ron Paul -- and Against the GOP Establishment
Yahoo! ^ | Jan. 3rd, 2012 | Sherry Tomfeld

Posted on 01/03/2012 2:53:26 PM PST by stillafreemind

Maybe it's time for a GOP rebellion. Why should voters listen to the GOP or Rove when they helped us into this soup? Does anyone think Romney has the guts to cut a trillion dollars in spending? Would he or Gingrich demand a declaration of war before putting troops in harms way? Are either of them going to get back to the Constitution, or just give it timely lip service?

Made my point. You didn’t like it, so I thought it was time to play with the geezer. You seemed to like it.

Guess what, if you think those here supporting Romney, Gingrich and Santorum care about the Constitution over their "team" then you are deranged. There. Feel less retarded now?

Your outrage is misplaced. "Those here"? Like the owner of this site and forum?

You think that Jim Robinson doesn't care about our Constitution?

You're for Ron Paul, which makes you just as stupid as the rest of his lunatic followers.

Why does crackpot Ron Paul trample the US Constitution? Sadly he must obviously think “provide for the common defence” means ignoring enemies and threats and being unprepared to defend US interests around the world.

"Racist, jew hating, Iran friendly, pot smoking, trufer endorsing, liberal ideals need to kick the bucket."

Wow, I can feel the love. Guess the no personal attacks rule is no longer in force

Really? A personal attack? Tell me. Of all these lovely qualities "Racist, jew hating, Iran friendly, pot smoking, trufer endorsing, liberal ideals" which one(s) apply to you?

I made no claim you had any of these values. But you readily took offense. Tells us all we need to know about YOU. Look. You have been FReeping all day with your support for Ron Paul.

Why not take a real stand and post a 1000 word vanity in support of Paul? Yeah. It can be your opus.

Simply put, a vote for Paul at this stage is a vote to keep Romney from being anointed by the party leadership at the convention. If Romney does not enter the convention with a clear majority, he will lose the nomination.

And likely he will not lose it to one of the other current candidates, but to a dark horse candidate. And there are a bunch of conservative dark horse candidates who could fit that bill.

Bottom line: if enough Republicans vote for a rabid dachshund instead of Romney, at least there is a chance that a conservative could be the nominee. Otherwise we, and the nation loses.

And Ron Paul is that rabid dachshund.

It’s only icing on the cake that he is radically anti-status quo. Just in itself, it sends a message to the party leadership that we have collectively had enough of their antics.

So spare us all your anti-Paul rants. If it is him that can knock out Romney, he will still not win the nomination, but we won’t have to abide four years of Romney cementing Obama’s agenda.

"You think that Jim Robinson doesn't care about our Constitution?"

You must be a Romney supporter because you are putting words in my mouth. As a supporter of FR, who has actually donated money to it, I don't even think I need to answer your question.

"You're for Ron Paul, which makes you just as stupid as the rest of his lunatic followers."

Hey! Great analysis, you should get a job at CNN.

Evidently you two Paultards are not up to speed with JR's policy on RoPaul. I'd suggest you take heed.

By the way, same with Ron Paul. His insane foreign policy would be a threat to us and to our allies. He's not going to do well outside of Iowa anyway. Spam monkeys be damned!

NOBAMA!! NO PAUL!! NO ROMNEY!!

Yes, Ron Paul is a whackjob nutcase Alex Jones truther. All 911 truthers can go straight to hell as far as I’m concerned. You too if you push that crap.

Post that nutjob crap here on FR at your own peril. I’m hereby giving the mods the greenlight to whack your account if and when you go over the line posting Ron Paul/whackjob truther nuttery.

“Outraged PaulTARD, but aren’t you all? LOL.”

In the words of one of traderrob6 who, without having the decency to ping the target of his witticism, “don’t feed the fool.”

They seem to enjoy buoying each other up in their galactically-sized ignorance.

They see FR as touting Romney. Ack.

Apparently you're not here very often or your would know that Jim has said several times over that there will be NO campaigning for Ron Paul or Romney!

Next idiocy from you?

If that’s the case or not, it really doesn’t matter does it? If Jim Robinson felt the need to boot me out for supporting the Constitution, he would have done so a long time ago.. He apparently doesn’t mind a liberal loving RINO like yourself.

So get ye back to your RickTard, PalinTard, Or NewtTard existence k?

Many sure jump to conclusions on here. I thought the article was interesting..if you don’t..that’s fine. I’m still one of the “undecideds” in tonights hoopla. But if it makes you feel good to jump on me..hey, I can take it. I know everyone is frustrated.

Just a couple of thoughts though. Any candidate that stayed on a simple message of changing the taxes, shrinking the government and stopping the spending spree would be on a rocket high win tonight. But none of them did.

After Cain dropped out and Palin was more or less silenced, all the candidates started turning on each other..not so much on Obama..and they quit giving voters info that they needed.

Heck, if you are going to be a CONSERVATIVE candidate..then be one. As Mr. Cain would have said..”BE BOLD”. Heard anything bold lately? I haven’t.

I don’t know what to think about Ron Paul. I know one thing, I know that there’s a large chunk of voters that one of the other candidates need to “date”. And spewing how dumb they are is not going to bring them around to whoever is the Republican choice. I truly don’t think Paul will go 3rd party..I don’t think Trump will. I think Paul supporters will stay home.

Me? Ever the optomist, I hope someone’s “speaker” will entice me. My hand yearns to write the words Palin or Cain.

If you think my posts are violating the rules than by all means ping admin or if you like I will ping admin a point out your DEATH WISH towards me.

As a grown man I prefer to settle things without calling the cops, notice I did not ping admin when you told me you wished I would die. IMHO far to many freepers have been zotted recently. If you think you can get me zotted too go for it. I've been here since early 99, I've NEVER had one word said to me by admin not one warning in almost 14 years and I am a monthly. So ping away.
