Yesterday it was at -20, too.
Overall, 46 approve, 53 disapprove.
He should be at 4% approval--to account for morons, and 96% disapproval.

His -12 rating from during Christmas break appears to be just due to more conservative people being away visiting family and unable to answer poll calls.

With the GOP candidates trashing each other as furiously as possible if Obama can't put it into positive territory now he isn't going to. He made a run over Christmas / New Years with lots of bad news for the GOP on top of his not having to make any unpopular decisions. But now he has to come back. And Iran, oil pipelines, fracking and solar power give aways are waiting for Obama to return. He will have to make decisions, and every time Obama makes a decision his numbers go down.

What happened to the Tucson bounce?
What happened to the Porkulus bounce?
What happened to the jobs speech to Congress bounce?
What happened to the Obamacare passing Congress bounce?
What happened to the Bin Laden bounce?
What happened to the Nobel Peace Prize bounce?
This president does not benefit from any long term bounces in polls from events which the liberals have told us enhance his popularity/statesman status.

His Excellency King Barry sucks at every approval level.

I know Obama has delayed the Keystone pipeline decision, perhaps permanently, so he can pander to his enviro-zealot base.
The GOP should make this a major issue. Isn’t it a giant step forward for energy security, to import much more oil from a friendly neighbor such as Canada? Wouldn’t the economy benefit from all of the jobs created by such a major project? Wouldn’t we be much less vulnerable to threats such as Iran blocking the strait of Hormuz if we had such a pipeline from Canada?
The clear majority of Americans are NOT enviro zealots. They want the pipeline. They don’t want Obama’s EPA shutting down coal fired power plants, as they plan to do. There’s another issue the GOP should push, the Obama EPA being out of control. And we all pay the price for that.

Not good news. Usually, OBozo gets a vacation bounce.

It is also a great issue to split the Democrat party three ways. The enviro zealots will fight it. The unions get the jobs from building it so they want the pipe line. Then there are the hippie peace pushers. Iran is closing the Strait of Hormuz. If you look at the amount of Oil we get that travels through that waterway, it is less than the projected output of the Keystone Pipeline. If you don't want to trade blood for oil, buy it from Canada. Other than hockey fights they aren't particularly militant.

The Holiday Spirit is over, the bills are due. The job situation is getting worse.

Ha, he must be back from vacation!

The Holiday Spirit is over.
Oh heck that died after Christmas dinner. We got the whole extended clan together. Of that group we had unemployed, underemployed (of note everyone 18 - 30 fell into that category), worried about their job, or not getting raises or bonuses. Note these are all university graduates. Only three out of close to 40 had big years in 2011. And two of them are married so it is only two households. I'm not seeing a whole bunch of Obama voters in that crowd. Certainly not among the younger set who's crapy jobs can't pay their tuition/loans, forcing them to move back in with mom and dad. I have suggested that moving out of Illinois might be a better idea than moving home, but that requires a leap of faith. And faith in the economy is in short supply these days.

How about somebody from the GOP make the connection nobody seems to have the ba$$s to make. Obama doesn't want the Keystone pipeline built because it would lead to the USA furthering its independence from Middle East Oil, thereby reducing the price of oil that muslim nations can charge for their oil. The GOP needs to make the same arguement the RATs made with Haliburton. Bush did XYZ to benefits his Haliburton buddies = Obama did ABC to benefit his muslim buddies.
