Hours after Mitt Romney eked out a win in the Iowa caucuses over former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, Gov. Deval Patrick called the victory for the former Bay State governor a win for the Tea Party.
Appearing on the CBS Early Show on Wednesday, Patrick defended President Barack Obama and called the Republican cast of challengers interchangeable.
Its a win last night for the Tea Party agenda. That was really the big winner. I mean the candidates in many respects are interchangeable because theyre all offering exactly the same plan, and thats a plan that says that everybody in America is on his or her own and thats a very, very different plan that the president has offered and that the Democratic Party stands for, Patrick said during a five-minute spot on the national broadcast where he appeared remotely from Boston.

Can't wait to see how this one unfolds. Where was he going, or who was he trying to escape? Who really blew the 0.0 into that state cop breathalizer?
“Tea Party” is just the new Democrat talking point to replace Bush, Halliburton and Palin. They have to have a boogeyman so their base has someone to blast on their Facebook pages.
Nothing new here.
It's just so unfunny because it's so untrue. It's like our side trying to make the case that Obama is the John Birch candidate.
And political fall guy Tim Cahill, his former treasurer, kept him there by splitting the opposition vote.

At first tried to blame it on 'black ice'. More likely a bad ice cube.
That is a compliment to Romney. That will help him in many quarters.
I wish I shared your optimism. I think 2012 will be like 1996 for the GOP. Given the choice between a mild statist and a strong statist, the great unwashed will pick the strong statist every time.
Well, smoking pot is virtually legal here in Massachusetts. If you get caught with less than an ounce, you get a ticket and have to pay a $100 fine. It's a civil offense, like a traffic ticket, but no longer a criminal offense.
If you ask me, that's the only thing Massachusetts has done right since I first moved to this benighted Commonwealth in 1973. Well, actually, they also got rid of the Blue Laws prohibiting the sale of liquor on Sundays. So I guess they got two things right.
Delusional. That can be the only diagnosis. Any statement that comes from any citizen (masshole) is questionable.
Question this one!
Guy’s an IDIOT, the Tea Party doesn’t like Romney. Sucks to be this guy..
I can’t believe this article is a surprise to anyone. We all know that the only play the libs have is to try to scare Americans into believing that the Republican candidate is a “radical right-winger.” This fact has always been at the heart of the Romney “electability” argument - he’s the hardest to turn into a “radical right-winger,” because he’s the farthest Republican from one...except for maybe Huntsman. Not to fear my little demagogues, they’ll still turn him into Gordon Gecko, the personficication of Wall Street excess, but trying to convince the nation that Romney is a radical conservative will be an uphill climb. They must be salivating over Santorum.
shows how out of touch folks are up there and it’;s their bias liberal media too.
Romney was also asked if he has the base especially social conservatives<which is proper conservatives you idiotic media. and he replied”yes I have talked to the tea party”
HUH
Now Patrick comes out with this, having been up there then I blame it on their media as it is so biased that they have no clue about anything.
Whoever wins the nomination, even if it’s Romney, will still be tied to the Tea Party by those who consider it to be an insult.
If I had just spent what Romney did in Iowa and was only able to eek out a win over another opponent who spend next to nothing there, I’d have a hard time considering it a victory. It’s my take Romney does to.
Of course he’ll play it off as ‘the will of the people’, but I see Romney going down. I see Santorum going up, as people begin to learn more about the guy.
Ron Small, adios pecker-head.
he takes his daughter when she was a young teen to homo freak parades, gives tax payers money to homo agendas so it goes to show how much of a nut the voters and he is.
Looks like a photo of Flip Wilson and Flop Obamney.
Deval that only works on Dems, say you love romney care if you want to hurt him!
The stupid ... it burns.
Good tactic. The left and middle fear the TEA Party...even though they promise CHANGE.
Linking the GOP candidate to TEA links him to all that fear. Just like everything was Bush’s Fault, the new Emmanuel Goldstein is TEA Party.
