I like Les and will watch his new show.

Me too. He said he quit because the hardship was getting to him. I surmised from that... Sleeping on the ground, bugs, cold, wet, conditions.

What I think did it was the episode with the panther. I think he scared himself right off of the show, realizing he probably should be dead for his stupidity. If I remember correctly, he left the enclosure, that the natives don’t leave at night, to take a pee, and stumbled right upon a panther. He should have been a meal.

I like Grylls and his show, but it gets a bit tiresome when he goes into the “what am I going to eat and drink?-—I might die from hunger or thirst” routine. Why you just grab that steak sandwich or that bottle of Coke your cameraman is holding Bear, that’s what you do.

Awesome! I just read Les’s book “Will To Live” (a collection of survival stories).

He makes Bear Grylls look like a punk.

This guy is way, way better then that phoney baloney Bear Grillis who has a team of experts on-hand to tell him what he can eat and where he can go. And he has a camera team.

Les is the real deal and does the whole show by himself all alone. I’m glad to hear he’s coming back.
