(CNSNews.com) On Jan. 1, the California Department of Education started implementing a new law that requires all children in the states public schools to study the role and contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans to the development of California and the United States of America.
This law, according to the pro-family group SaveCalifornia.com, will require the schools to promote lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans as role models and mandate that children as young as kindergarten must be taught to admire persons who engage in homosexuality.

While pondering how much time, money and energy is spent pandering to an estimated 3.5% of the population, it occurred to me that if people stood up and demanded the same attention be paid to contributions of conservatives, patriots and immigrants who assimilated into our society with pride, there would be little room left for this nonsense.

I wonder if they could also teach them some basic math skills, a little english sentence structure and maybe something about U.S. History?....I know...I ask to much!
To: AngelesCrestHighway
Will those “contributions” include the degradation of society, the culture, the family, and the spread of deadly sexually transmitted diseases?

Make no mistake, the whole promotion of homosexualism is simply a front for anti-Christianity.

The schools here barely cover the contributions of the founders, and when they do it usually focuses on their refusal to deal with the institution of slavery.Kids graduate totally ignorant of the constitution and founding principles.
Public educatators are for the most part clinically insane.

I agree sort of that gay history should be taught ..
it should be taught how the fags spread the deadly AIDS virus worldwide and killed millions because of their perversions.
To: Baynative
Contributions? You mean like the spread of AIDS?!?

This sounds like something hatched in Bezerkeley (which is why I moved my family away from there in 1972) but now it is affecting the whole state. I would not recommend that anyone live in California and subject themselves and their families to this nonsense.

Adam Carolla made a similar point in his podcast yesterday. Basically, he said, if you measured simply by how much fuss they kicked up, you'd think the gays made up 90% of the population. He compared that with the Asians, who make up a bigger percentage of the population, but didn't kick up any fuss.

Is it a leap to predict in 10 years, California (if still in the U.S.)will mandate public school students study the “contributions” of the founders of NAMBLA?
Little can convince me it’s not headed in that direction.

There are those who believe that a new modernity demands a new morality. What they fail to consider is the harsh reality that there is no new morality. There is only one morality...all else is immorality. There is only true Christian ethics over against which stand the whole of paganism.... President Theodore Roosevelt

When California is finally ceded to Mexico, there's going to be some freakish screaming coming from there as the queers come to the realization their new government won't be quite so willing to tolerate their sh*t.

Lately I had been viewing testimonials at You Tube of people who had near death experiences of hell. Quite frightening really......So many in our society show little respect for God and no fear of being sent to hell. Promoting wickedness as normal is a one way ticket down to gehenna. Scary stuff indeed.

How many historic figures are “trans-whatever”? Are we going to study the history of Chazz Bono on Dancing With The Stars?
And who else is historic? Ellen DeGeneres, Rosie O’Donnell, Harvey Milk, Village People, RuPaul, Rock Hudson, Billie Jean King, Elton John?
The school kids may well end up learning about people in the popular culture as part of history, assuming some serious attempt is made to measure some historic achievements of LGBT peoples. But then we could ask if learning about Rosie O’Donnell and her history is a good use of class time.
To: Baynative
How about teaching the contributions that ALL americans have made and leave their sexual preferances completely out of it.
we don’t have classes that teach the contributions of straight americans and if we did you know the left would throw a hissy fit.
Just leave the sexual preferances of people out of it and list what they did the other 99% of the time they weren’t enguaging in sexual acts, straight or otherwise.
If they wanna teach this they can do it in college as a damned elective.
