SAN DIEGO — San Diego County investigators trying to determine a motive behind a New Year's Day murder-suicide involving two Navy pilots and two other people are looking at whether jealousy may have played a role.
Sheriff's Capt. Duncan Fraser said Thursday investigators are looking at all aspects, including whether there was a relationship between one of the pilot's sisters who was also killed and the Navy pilot who committed suicide.
John Robert Reeves, 25, shot himself in the head, and the three others with him were murdered, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said, citing autopsy results. Fellow Navy pilot David Reis, also 25, was killed by a gunshot wound to the torso, and his 24-year-old sister, Karen, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and chest, officials said. Matthew Saturley, 31, of suburban Chula Vista, was shot multiple times.

They said Reeves shot himself, but declined to say if he murdered the others.
Yes this appears to be the case, but they have not come out and said that.

If ya got a link that says Reeves murdered them all, please post it. I'm confident that is the case, but have yet to see them say so.

What's the point you're trying to make here?
The cops won't confirm who shot who until they've done ballistics testing on all four firearms found in the home. This takes time. Until then, it's pretty obvious what happened. We know that Reeves entered the condo first at a little after 2:00 am. Shortly thereafter, Karen Reis and Matthew Saturley entered. Then gunfire was heard. David Reis then entered the home and more gunfire was heard. At 2:20 am the 911 call was made by an individual who remained outside the condo. Reeves was found with a self-inflicted gunshot to the head.
It doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure this one out. The cops know what happened, they know Reeves was the gunman. They just can't confirm this publicly until all the testing has been done.
Read back, I could not be any clearer and my point was made repeatedly.
This article clearly did not say Reeves murdered them all and investigators at this point, have held off definitively stating that. Yes he is likely the murderer, but they have yet to state that. Simple.

Yeah, he likely murdered them all, however, there is always a chance he didn't. Trust me, stranger things have happened and this is delayed until all the evidence tells them that.
Simply put, until their investigation is completed, they won't definitively tell ya who the murderer was and or what the likely motive was.
I personally am more interested in the motive.
