Wow! Free pass to shower with opposite sex

A county ethics commission in Maryland has determined that if you make negative statements about transgenderism, your word is not reliable.

The stunning conclusion, now under appeal at a state ethics panel, was made by the Montgomery County Ethics Commission and signed by member Nina Weisbroth in a four-year-old dispute over an effort to hold a referendum on the county’s adoption of what’s become known as the “coed showers” bill.

The law provides “discrimination” protections for transgenders, and critics say it opens up virtually all of the county – from shower rooms to restrooms to other private areas – to anyone who states he or she is of a certain gender. For example, a man dressing as a woman would be allowed, under penalty of discrimination laws, into a women’s locker room, shower room or restroom.

Opponents set out to collect signatures on a petition to demand that the law be put to a vote of the people and later filed a complaint over one of the originators of the bill, county council member Duchy Trachtenberg’s assistant, Dana Beyer, a transgender.

How did America come to fighting over transgenderism? Read “HOW EVIL WORKS” by best-selling author David Kupelian.

According to a video of the incident, Beyer attempted to intimidate citizens collecting signatures that would put the law up to a vote.

The issue was presented to the county ethics board because of Beyer’s connections to authorities in the county and the alleged threats of retaliation against those who want to have people vote.

The ethics panel in the county, however, disregarded several statements, because the witnesses to the incident exhibited “palpable and unapologetic disdain for transgendered individuals.”

That, the ethics panel said, makes the testimony “not credible.”

Why not just make all restrooms and locker rooms “gender neutral” and be done with it?

The good news; yes, you can.
The bad news; only the lesbians.

A clear violation of civil rights. The First Amendment reminds all that the people have a right "to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

nope, you actually have to dress like a woman first, then when you get in to the locker room you can undress and take a shower with women, legally.

I don’t think claming to be a male lesbian would work.

Ignore the mid-to-older lesbians. But there are some surprisingly cute girls among the younger lez crowd.

So here's what to do:

  1. Get excited.
  2. Paint your member some silly color with acrylic latex.
  3. Add heavy lines from the base around your waist and butt so that it looks like a "strap-on".
  4. Stay excited.
  5. Go for that shower with the girls, dude!
No one will be the wiser, unless the water in the shower is.... cold. LOL

Way to kill MORE businesses! Soon, no one but the transgenders or homosexuals will use these gyms, or even restaurants rather than be subjected to danger. It is already happening in some places. We very seldom go out anymore. home is safer and we are perfectly content to enjoy our workouts, meals, and the company where we aren’t offended or made to feel nausea. Not a feeling I particularly enjoy!

“Why not just make all restrooms and locker rooms “gender neutral” and be done with it?”

A grammer school run by UCLA 50 years ago had a unisex bathroom that didn’t even have stalls, just toilets lined up along the wall.

That restroom was weven for the teacher.

A few comments.

This is absurd.

The word is not “trangender”, it’s “transexual”. (Funny how these proponents of sexual openness don’t like using proper “open” “dirty” words - “gender” is NOT the same as “sex”.)

A person who merely DRESSES as the other sex is a TRANSVESTITE (i.e., other/changing clothes). This term almost never is used today. A transexual (cough-cough transgender) is a person who actually physically changed.

But, either way, I take WorldNetDaily with a grain of salt.

I live in Montgomery County aka with the [not] affectionate acronym "MoCo".

This was the MOST moronic bill that was ever passed by the County Council. We tried to get it up for referendum, but were shot down by the Maryland Court of Appeals last election. Don't know the current status of the petition ... BTW: Last election, Duchy Trachtenberg and her transgender [queer in a dress] assistant [Dana Beyer] got thrown out of office on their asses for having sponsored the bill ...

I once traveled to Mobile, AL to play in the Alabama Open Chess Championship. Drove a VW Squareback and slept in the back. Went to the U of SO. AL campus to sleep in the parking lot and use the dorm bathrooms since it was a holiday weekend and students were supposedly gone home. The guard at the gate told me which men's dorm to park in front of (it was previously a military base and they all looked the same) and use the bathroom. Early in the morning I went into the bathroom and had a nice long hot shower and was standing at the sink shaving when a young female sauntered into the bathroom, let out a strain squeak and fled the scene leaving her bathtowel in the doorway.

I appreciated the towel since I had forgotten to pack one and needed drying off after my shower and shave before dressing. I doubt the gate guard even understood why I thanked him so profusely when I left the lot.

Great, so if I go grab a $15 Vera Wang scarf, I can claim I'm "just starting my journey" and wander into the woman's locker room? These people are idiots for not seeing the door they just opened - literally and figuratively.

This law is screwed up in so many ways...

But let me share a story. When I was in college (early 70's) I visited a friend at his dorm at MIT. The dorm had been all-male, but that year it had gone co-ed. The bathrooms (one to a floor) were initially alternately marked with paper signs as "MEN" (1st, 3rd, 5th,...floors) and "WOMEN" (2nd, 4th,... floors).

These things happened in a matter of two weeks:

  1. For a few days, everybody put up with the inconvenience of having to use stairwells to go to another floor for a shower or pee.

  2. Then the hassle started being a pain, and a few kids agreed to "stand watch" while each other would use the "wrong" bathroom.

  3. Eventually the time came when no friends were available to stand watch, and a few kids just took their chances. Inevitably a few "surprises" occurred, but nobody was particularly freaked out.

  4. The paper signs on the MENs bathrooms came down, and all the "MEN" bathrooms were declared "UNISEX" (or some such term, maybe "COED", I forget). The WOMENs bathrooms remained women-only.

I was taking a shower in the open shower area of the MENs bathroom one morning, when a lovely girl of 20 or so, whom I did not know, came strolling in, dropped her towel, and proceeded to take a shower at the position next to mine. We had a perfectly normal (if somewhat superficial) conversation for a few minutes, while of course enjoying the view, and when we were done we toweled ourselves dry, combed our hair, and said goodbye. No big deal, really. That was 40 years ago.

BUT THAT WAS TWO NORMAL PEOPLE, OF THE CORRECT SEXES, WHO WERE NOT CONFUSED ABOUT THEIR SEXUALITY.

The part about this misbegotten, wrong-headed law that gets to me is -- the people who are disrupting the order are by definition CONFUSED about their SEXUALITY. In my opinion they present a significant potential threat -- NOT ONLY to the normal people who use sex-separated facilities by choice, but ALSO to those of us who don't much care if a normal person of the other sex sees us, but who are bothered by some deve ogling us while we shower.

This law is wrong, top to bottom.

That's criminal, IMO. I agree with you completely, those were kids!!

The story I shared about MIT was about adults -- all over 18, and the reassignment of the bathrooms was entirely by their own choice.

The point of my story was that if the people involved are adults who are not screwed up about what sex they are, it's possible for them to survive the experience of sharing a bathroom with persons of the opposite sex -- BUT ONLY IF THEY WANT TO. It may not be a big deal to SOME people, but to others it was unacceptable.

People who want privacy are entitled to it. Concocting some law to force people to be viewed by screwed-up wackos is horrible.

Are you willing to check your dingdong at the door? If not, I think the ladies in the room might have a right to object. :)

Or perhaps take a poll of the ladies first. "Hey, do y'all mind if I bring this in with me?"

Nah, didn't think that would work... IMO, if you still got it, you ain't a lady.

Whew, the faggots have really been pushing their luck in recent years, thanks mainly to their Democrat enablers. ...The military has been sodomized, children in the Massachusetts government schools are taught about “fisting”, children in the California government schools are required to learn about the alleged contributions of every variety of sexual perverts, bathrooms and showers in Maryland are now effectively unisex and open to all, states are approving gay “marriages” and giving taxpayer-funded benefits to “partners”... Wow.

Keep a close eye on your kids, everybody.

That’s the way to do it. Boycott businesses who, even through no fault of their own, capitualate to these freaks. Let the businesses know why you won’t patronize them and they’ll let town officials know why the town is going broke. The same can be done with red light cameras.
