Rick Santorum booed in New Hampshire for gay marriage comments (New England College, Concord)

The College Convention 2012 at New England College in Concord, New Hampshire provided a true test of Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum’s religous views regarding gay marriage Thursday.

The former Pennsylvania senator was one of four Republican candidates to attend the convention, as Newt Gingrich, Jon Huntsman and Buddy Roemer also attended the event.

New England College has played host to the College Convention since the year 2000.

Mr. Santorum countered questions about his views on gay marriage by comparing it to polygamy several times, while not actually defending his views regarding gay marriage. He became engaged in several back and forth exchanges with one particular female student, who continued to demand that he define why he opposes same sex marriage.

“Well what about three men? If reason says that if you think it’s OK for two, then you have to differentiate with me as to why it’s not OK for three.”

Finally, Mr. Santorum attempted to explain his views and beliefs regarding gay marriage.

“I believe we’re made that way. God made men and woman to keep civilization and provide the best environment to raise children,” said Mr. Santorum. “I have no problem if people want to have relationships, but marriage provides a good to society. It’s unique because it is the union that causes children to be raised.”

Mr. Santorum’s rival candidates have had several run ins with gay issues, or gay voters asking them about their views regarding same sex marriage.

Minnesota congresswoman Michele Bachmann was told by an eight year old child at a book signing that his gay mother “doesn’t need fixing.”

During a December campaign event in Iowa, Mr. Gingrich told a gay voter to “support Obama,” after listening to the man’s view about marriage.

In August, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney signed a pledge promising to support a constitutional amendment to define marriage as being between a man and a woman.

Texas Governor Rick Perry received criticism from gay voters at events in Iowa, after releasing an ad advocating for the military to bring back their “Don’t ask, don’t tell,” policy.

According to a Rasmussen poll released Wednesday, Mr. Santorum is surging in popularity nationally, his views on gay marriage should not hurt his surge at all, since the majority of his opponents have the same views.

Having witnessed Santorum’s reelection campaign in PA, I can tell you this is what it’s all about with Santorum and the liberals. He routinely was called a “Nazi” here by gay activists.

One of the most remarkable cases was a guy who owned half of a fitness club in Philadelphia. For the crime of having contributed to Santorum’s campaign, he was driven out of business by the activists and had to sell his interest. It was depicted that contributing to Santorum was tantamount to supporting the holocaust, and that it was a “betrayal” of the gym’s customers, many of whom I gather were gay.

I like Gingritch’s response -

no one that supports gay “marriage” is going to vote for a conservative anyway.

agree.
Imagine the outrage saying marriage is between one man and one woman, ARF, nothing but perverts and sick freaks up there.

Notice how the queer loving MSM, today show, good morning America only show a slight encouter but not where Rick gets into a debate with them and where they just wanted to boo him instead of answering his questions.

Rick is right , damn right infact, if we allow people to marry the same sex then it;s only right people can have 5 wives, dog, siblings etc.

What the perverts want is their kind of sick marriage but ignore everyone else’s desire.
Every argument they use can be used for other marriages.

WELL DONE RICK and those who are not cowards for speaking up, staying silent and being a coward only helps their agenda.

Rick is correct as D.P. Moynihan said, “ defining deviancy down”

This is historical fact and provable today.

It was 1973 that the American Psychiatric Association removed homosexuality from the DSM after reams of advocacy research .

Today, the American Psychiatric Association is creating the same advocacy research in regards to pedophilia .American Psychological Association published the infamous Rind, et al. article claiming man-boy sex isn`t that bad at all.

The effort is of course to define the deviancy down and legalize the next illegal behavior as very normal then the next, and the next, etc.

It`s the typical Alinsky doctrine , “Ethical standards must be elastic to stretch with the times. “

Constitutionally , there is no ‘right to privacy’ ergo no special “rights” can be conferred by the federal courts or Congress to those who practice odd sex in the bedroom. But as Black said ( Judicial Activism), ...there is not. There are of course guarantees in certain specific constitutional provisions which are designed in part to protect privacy at certain times and places with respect to certain activities.” Using the phrase “ right to privacy” is “ one of the most effective ways of diluting or expanding a constitutionally guaranteed right is to substitute for the crucial word of a constitutional guarantee another word more or less flexible and more or less restricted in meaning,,, ‘Privacy’ is a broad, abstract and ambiguous concept which can be easily interpreted...”

So-called “homosexual” rights & the First Amendment CANNOT co-exist.

So-called “rights” for homosexuals means the loss of First Amendment rights for anyone who finds homosexuality immoral, depraved or simply disgusting.

MSNBC, The View, Entertainment Tonight, The Daily Show, Etc. is telling these kids they must fear the “Christo-Fascist Sharia Laws” that people like Santorum would support.

‘People Like Santorum’ = Christians

Most people on FR have NO IDEA how deep the hate of Christians runs in the largely-gay mainstream U.S. media, despite it being well-documented on FR over the years.
