For the record, the per-unit cost is going to be a whopping $262 million per mile in US dollars. That makes California HSR look tame by comparison.

I want to know what is it that ties enormous fiscal debt to highspeed rail in every country? Similarly when any of the media speak about the budget they say Police fire and teachers, how do teachers fit in esential life saving services? Sounds like thier spewing out loud like when they stuff junk in bills that have nothing to do with the bill
