A New Hampshire surrogate for Mitt Romney said at a local political event that it's evident he will be the Republican presidential nominee and suggested that "beliefs and principles" should not be the deciding factor for voters. State Sen. Gary Lambert said the most important thing is to nominate somebody who can defeat President Obama. "I don't get it. This is not about picking a favorite, it's not about picking someone you like," Lambert said. "It's not about picking someone even with your own beliefs and principles. This is about picking a person who can beat Barack Obama, period."

I heard probably on Fox since that was what I was watching. 2 (?) caucus locations had called in their numbers but whoever lost them. When they called back they had “thrown away” the results. SERIOUSLY?

Then the Romney and another campaign “agree” on a number for the results.

Hope you're not referring to Supreme Court Judges. Exhibit A:

• We elected Nixon, a Republican. He gave us Justice Harold Blackmun. Remember him? He was the author of Roe v. Wade.
• Nixon got us Gerald Ford. He gave us Justice John Paul Stevens. You may remember him as the author of a scathing dissent on the court's ruling to stay the recount of votes in Florida during the 2000 presidential election.
• And of course, there's George H.W. Bush. He gave us David Souter.

Be careful if you think electing Romney will get us good judges. More likely, Willard will shed his "conservative" façade and give us more Kagans, Ginsburgs and of course, "wise latinas" [sic].

I saw this LIVE also. It was wonderful, after the initial shock! It revealed the Establishment rules Romney, and all of his supporters for all the world to see! An emperor-has-no-clothes moment! Just, wowsers!

1. Romney is NOT electable as Conservatives will NOT vote for him if he is the nominee. That is a FACT. Which means he is unelectable.

2. Only reason Romney is up in some unlikely polls is that 20%+ democratics have temporarily switched parties to vote for the most easily beatable candidate for Zero, which is Romeny.

3. Ron Paul is indirectly working for the Democrats. Do you notice how Ron Paul NEVER bashes Romney? Never. Ron Paul bashes Conservatives much more than he ever bashes ZERO. Ron Paul never bashes Zero and will only start bashing Romney, if/when he were to become the nominee.

4. Free Republic is an Anti-Romney website. This will never change. He Romney were to win the nomination, look for Free Republic to expose his liberalism as much as we expose Obama. FACT

Anyone who says Romney is electable is refusing to live in the real world. Conservatives will not vote for Romney in the General election.
