Students in California public schools may not be leading the nation in their knowledge of the three Rs, but they are well on their way to being experts in deviant lifestyles. Under a law signed last year by Gov. Jerry Brown (D), all public schools in the state are now required to promote homosexuality, bisexuality, transsexuality, and same-sex marriage at every grade level, including kindergarten and to do so without parental consent or even notification.
Known as the Fair, Accurate, Inclusive, and Respectful (FAIR) Education Act, the law adds lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender [LGBT] Americans to the list of minority groups which schools are required to portray positively. It mandates that social-science instructional materials include the role and contributions of
lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans.

A NATION GONE MAD
In other news, California private school enrollment is way up...
What could go wrong?/sarcasm
Hey California, had enough yet?
WARNING: Do not buy or adopt a dog in California. You never know who it’s been with.
Unteach them at home. Preach it always that deviants are sick that deviants are unclean.
Any child I raise will know the facts.
Time to put up signs next to the Welcome to California signs that read Abandon all hope, ye that enter here.
Public or private, it won’t matter. This is mostly about teaching our little macho boys to stop beating up the effeminate little nerds.
What are the contributions of trans-whatever people? Who are historic trans-whatever people to be studied? Chazz Bono? Is her status as the first trans-something to be on Dancing With The Stars something to be studied in school as an historic breakthrough for trans-people????
Well, give them credit where due - after all, they did invent trans-fat. :=)
That is a hard way to go.
Two things are likely to happen.
First your kid will repeat your words in school and get in to trouble.
Second your kid will get in fights over what he says to indoctrinated kids.
Another possibility is that school officials report you to Child Services and you are investigated.
Remember Kalifornia is no longer a free state.
Get your kids out of state schools.
The sad part is that there are a lot of decent people in California but they have been disenfranchised by the radicals and the illegal aliens in the state and they effectively have no say in how the state is run. That's why they are leaving in droves.
My sixth grader got a detention for saying, “Curse the Muslims!” during a movie about various religions. We’re in Illinois.
Did he actually say “curse”? or did he use a different curse word?
Sure since California public schools are already doing such a fine job of teaching that they have extra time left over for homosexual propaganda.
They’re not doing a fine job, at all.
49th place actually.
Well, California, you wanted leftists to run your state and now you can reap the harvest of your misguided political preferences. I'm sure most parents who do not subscribe to the perverted rubbish their children will soon be exposed to are preparing to leave the state and it's madness or, if that is simply not feasible, make whatever sacrifice is necessary to enroll their children in a private, preferably religious-oriented school that does not teach sexual perversion as something to celebrate. It will be interesting to see the fallout from this, if the MSM dares to cover it. I won't hold my breath, waiting.
