The device that exploded inside a car in Lafayette on Saturday afternoon, sending a husband and wife to the hospital with serious burns, was inside a paper bag with the victims' names written...

Lafayette police this morning issued a news release with fresh details of the crime, which remains under investigation. As of 8 a.m. today, no arrests had been made, although ... investigators were looking at a possible suspect.

Allyson Stone, 44, and her husband, Christopher Stone, 59, walked out of their home at 337 Lodgewood Point just before 12:56 p.m. Saturday when they saw a package "described as a paper bag with their names on it next to their car."

In 2010, Allyson Stone was involved in an incident in which she was bitten by a dachshund named Spork while she was working as a veterinary technician at Lafayette's Jasper Animal Hospital. Spork was to have been euthanized after the attack, but a municipal judge spared the dog.

The dog was to be euthanized because it bit a worker? Yeah, that never happens in vets offices - all dogs are angels when poked and probed by strangers while being held down. S/
