New TV Show Idea: All-American Christian

I have a GREAT idea! How about a TV show titled, “All-American Christian”? Christians have been getting a bum rap in cinema and the mainstream media for quite a while. In a spirit of fairness, compassion and tolerance, a TV show promoting Christianity is simply the right thing to do. After all, the last thing we need are Christian-phobic Americans.

We must educate Americans to realize Christianity is a religion of peace. Christians are not anti-American. The TV show will confirm Christians are not much different than you and me and just as patriotic. Also, Christians would never attempt to force Biblical Law down our throats.

Now, where can I find fair minded, tolerant and compassionate celebrities who will enthusiastically support and speak in defense of the show. I know! Russell Simmons, Bill Maher and Rosie O'Donnell are a good start. These guys are all about fairness, tolerance and compassion. I am extremely confident they will leap at an opportunity to fairly portray Christianity.

Christians are not rioting, seeking to physically punish offenders or lobbying to make it illegal to speak against their religion. Thus, beheading non-believers who reject their religion is not in the Christian recruitment manual. As a matter of fact, the founder of Christianity said, “With loving kindness have I drawn thee”.

Rosie O'Donnell, great advocate of women rights that she is, will surely love this. Christian women are not forced to be subservient to men. Under no circumstance does Christianity condone a husband beating, stoning or beheading his wife. A Christian woman is pretty much free to be all-she-can-be from a mom to governor of Alaska to president of the United States. Believe it or not, a Christian woman can even venture outside without having her head covered and face veiled. Thus, it makes perfect sense that the American Feminist Movement would rally around Christianity. Right?

I can not think of a single group of people Christians seek to remove from the planet. While more than 18,167 deadly terrorist attacks, since 9-11, have been carried out in the name of another religion, zero attacks, since 9-11, have happened in the name of Christianity. We know the American left is all about peace; “all we are saying is give peace a chance” and so on. One can only conclude that Christianity's non-violent track record wins their endorsement. Correct?

Unfortunately, Christianity does not have a “lying clause”. Another religion has a privilege authorized in its holy book called, “Taqiyya” which means never-feeling-guilty-for-lying. In other words, Taqiyya makes it permissible to lie to protect their religion. Common sense tells us that anything these people say about the intentions and motives of their religion should be taken with a grain of salt. Meanwhile, Christians are stuck with “Thy shall not lie.”

It is truly tragic that Bibles, after school Bible studies and prayer at school sporting events are being banned from public schools. Christian graduates are commanded to censor all references to God and especially “Jesus” from their commencement speeches. And yet, nationwide special concessions are being made for another religion; installing foot bathing facilities and etc.

By the way, our government has sponsored the defacing of Christian icons. A photo of a crucifix submerged in a glass of urine was funded by the NEA (National Endowment of the Arts). The award winning photo is titled, “Piss Christ”. The Brooklyn Museum of Art, despite considerable controversy, exhibited the Holy Virgin Mary painted with elephant dong.

Christians are legally fighting the court ordered removal of crosses which have been displayed on sites for many years, one out in the middle of nowhere. Nativity scenes are becoming more and more taboo in public schools and government buildings. Our kids no longer go on Christmas break from school. It is now called Winter Fest-a-something or other.

Some paranoid conspiracy theorists say Christianity has infiltrated high levels of our government. Rumor has it that even President Obama is a Christian. However, this rumor is yet to be confirmed. I wish to go on record stating that I am not Christian-phobic. America was unarguably founded on Biblical principles. Therefore, I am completely comfortable with Christians influencing our government.

We can count on Secretary of State Hilary Clinton to aggressively work to make Christian-phobia punishable by law the way she is for another religion.

So yes, the timing is perfect for an “All-American Christian” TV show. I am sure Hilary, Obama and all those compassionate tolerant Hollywood types will enthusiastically join in our effort to get out the truth about Christianity- a virtuous, misunderstood and wonderful religion of peace.

Folks, this is gonna be great! I am soooooo excited. For the debut of the “All-American Christian” TV show, I wonder if we can get Tim Tebow to make a special guest appearance. Wouldn't that be awesome?

All-American Christian.

I love it.

But I suspect that show would be targeted with hate, vitriol, rancor and all around meanness like what Tim Tebow experiences.

To be honest, I don’t like these reality TV shows. They are used for entertainment. TV doesnt’ go for “normal” families, so for them to take a christian family that is “normal” would be a surprise (and to be honest, probably wouldn’t get many ratings).

My thought is that we need more “real” christian actors to actually practice what they preach on their shows. IE no sex scenes, no using the Lords name, etc.

Why, yes....a good idea...so good an idea that the DHS is already on the case doing background investigation for the program (to be aired this October).....Only......it isn't the kind of publicity you were thinking about. The American Hating Christian (ugh) Home Grown Terrorist is now busy about his work: Church, family, bible, flag, and guns. He must be stopped.

Reality TV shows are only successful in three cases:

1) Where the subjects are enormously dysfunctional (Jersey Shore) or inherently funny (The Osbornes).

2) Where it’s a competition (Survivor, the Amazing Race).

3) When it occurs in exotic locales and the stars face massive physical/financial challenges (Deadliest Catch, Gold Rush, etc.)

Nobody is going to want to see some well-adjusted family going mowing the lawn and going to church each Sunday.

I would suggest a show about Christian missionaries in the Third World (assuming there aren’t already some) but it’s never going to be on a major network, but could make a religious network.

A reality show "about Christian missionaries in the Third World".

An excellent idea!

IMHO, it’s time to re-make some of the classic epic movies like “The Ten Commandments” incorporating modern CG effects. Maybe some new ones as well, a-la “Gladiator,” “Kingdom of Heaven,” or “Clash of the Titans” depicting certain Old Testament battles and kings.

Aren't the Osbornes “inherently funny” because they are “enormously dysfunctional”? /sarc off

How ‘bout “All American Douchebag?” Could profile DeadMedia knotheads such as Georgie Snuffleupagus, Diane Sawed-off, and Tricky Dick Gregory.

Make movies like this old movie I never even heard of until it was streaming at netflix:
Driftwood 1947 with Natalie Wood she is younger then her role in miracle on 34th street.

Now if you had a COMPETITION between various denominations to see who could convert the most people each week in a given exotic location, then you might have a network show.

Wow!! Are we allowed to mention the word “Christian” without being charged with a hate crime?-—or is holder and hussein still working on that law?

This movie is the number one most politically incorrect movie for today's audience I have ever seen and a very cute movie.

There are words I didn't know what they meant such as Beelzebub which is a philistine god or Christians call the lord of the flies. Now thought of as a daemon or we call Ba'al

People don’t understand the “attack on Christianity”. It is all because the Christian religion is the most rational. Always was-—founded on debate and intense scrutiny-—it had to be in line with Natural Law Theory—(Common Sense) because Anselm and St. Thomas Aquinas and many Christian Theologians knew that God’s Design in nature had to be intentional and Christianity should not be in conflict with God’s Laws.

It is why the USA was so successful—the product of The Age of Reason (Common Sense) and the legal system was based on God’s Laws-—which is the ONLY source of JUST LAW-—(equal law). Christianity is in line with Just Law-—equality for all—even minorities—have dignity and worth. Individualism came from Christianity and is the basis of American Law.

Common sense and logic can not exist in Marxism-—the Big Lie. You have to destroy children’s ability to think logically-—(think arabs/mormons/atheists—(no design in nature, absurd ideas taken as fact. C.S. Lewis studied all religions and myths and states that Christianity has logic and reason and historical fact behind it—it makes sense.).

Marxists destroy a child’s foundational knowledge with positing lies-—like Heather has two mommies and other insane—illogical thinking—with impossible things that could not possibly have happened—where historical records prove it couldn’t have happened.

Marxists destroy Moral Absolutes with multiculturalism and tolerance—teaching children the lie that all cultures are equal as if people who chop off heads and practice the inequality of polygamy and regularly sodomize boys-—can be “good”. They teach that you should not judge-—when tolerance of evil created the Nuremberg laws. (Lies—and tolerate evil ideas—like “homosexual marriage” making sodomy “good”. Stupidity!!!! and EVIL! to teach children such LIES and dysfunctions.

Marxists want stupid people-—easily led and “convinced” like the Winston Smith’s. We need to take back the education of the children-—out of the Billy Ayers’ sick, twisted minds—who have designed curricula to promote lies and “feel good, do it” moral relativism which always will produce CHAOS. Burn his curricula and destroy DOE==the biggest indoctrination into anti-Americanism which is anti-Christian. No difference-—Both believe in God’s Laws as Supreme and the only source of “Just Law”. (Cicero)

You want a Christian reality show? I got you a Christian reality show. It has exotic locales and entire dysfunctional countries.

There are some really brave missionaries and doctors that work in hellholes like the Sudan. I know of at least one that has his family there, too (he’s a distant cousin).

Just follow these folks around for a month and you’ll have an entire season’s worth of material.

My all-time favorite is "Ben-Hur". The book, written by Civil War General Lew Wallace, was titled "Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ". Beautiful movie, it was about a lot more than a chariot race.
