William Daley to step down as Obama's chief of staff

William Daley is stepping down as White House chief of staff and budget director Jack Lew is taking over the President Obamas team as it heads into a tough election year, senior administration officials say.
Daley gave his letter of resignation to the president in a private meeting in the Oval Office last week, recounting the administration's successes of his one year on the job and saying it was time for him to return to his hometown of Chicago.

Goes well with Rush's comment today. His hair is really on fire about how the Rancid Media is hiding just how badly Obama's popularity has cratered. He laid-into "East Coast Republicans who just want to get along" with Dems instead of going after Dems.

Some people may remember Daley as the leader of the Al Gore campaign who tied up our country's election results from November 8 - December 13, 2000!
