N.H. is an example of the fraud that will come in the general election.

Awful, just awful, our candidates did not break into top 3. Romney MUST be defeated in SC and FL or else his momentum will be too much.

The leftist media picked Robamney long ago.

That is why they systematically shone the spotlight on each of the major contenders over the past month and then destroyed each of them.

Romney will be the pick.

He will lose.

I will not change the first part of my tagline, because it is more important now than ever.

20,000 people pretending to be picking our president is absurd.

As absurd as having 5 people on a court that decides what is best for the rest of the country.

I’m in NH. The demographics have changed over the last 25 years (not for the better). Open primary and no contest on the Dem side made this a free-for-all, with all of the loons coming in to vote on the GOP side.

The Occupy tent site was littered with Paulbots. They’re not Republicans. Nor is Romney, for that matter.

I agree it’s the Dem’s voting for Paul. Heck, if the Democrats had an open primary in my state, I for sure would go down and vote for the looniest candidate they had running. Stirring the pot....

Please don’t overlook the fact that many “Paul supporters” are just leftist supporters of Obammie the Commie who are trying to divide the Republican vote.

So now Romney is the GOP nominee, right? I mean Iowa and New Hampshire have been portrayed by the Media as being the only States that matter. [/sarc]

You can wake up now, we get South Carolina and Florida. If Romney steam roles these against a divided conservative field, its basically all over.

>> There is another dynamic at play here. <<

Yep, I suspect it should be called something like, “The Tragic but Inevitable Self-Destruction of Mr. Newt” — a drama of almost Shakespearean dimensions.

Lotsa FReepers were predicting in late November and early December that Newt-the-High-Flyer would eventually explode and crash to earth. There are plenty of posts to that effect in the archives.

Back in those golden days of Newt’s magnificent ascent, when he so gloriously and confidently told everybody he’d surely be chosen as nominee, an important question some of us dubious posters were asking was not “if” but rather, “Will Newt’s self-immolation occur during the primaries, or or will it be after he wins the nomination?”

Well, now it seems we’ll soon have the answer.

Tip jar is at the end of the bar. I’ll get back to playing piano after my break.

And THIS is why New Hampshire is NOT indicative of conservatives.

When Newt, and Perry, for that matter, started spouting talking points of the class warfare liberals, folks, including me, are leaving those two in droves!

NH is an open primary so anyone can vote in the “Republican” primary. The implication is that the NH R vote is loaded with dems - either disaffected obama voters, dopers for Paul, or simply dem chicanery.

SC is not open so it is obviously a far better gauge of Republican wishes and is a “real” Repubican primary b/c only registered Rs can vote it.

a.) The results from New Hampshire reflect only that an open GOP primary means absolutely nothing so far as results are concern.

b.) Anyone suggesting Ron Paul is a ‘conservative’ let alone a patriot is more full of sh*t than a Christmas turkey. He called the traitor Bradley Manning a ‘hero’ and a ‘patriot’, how eff’d up is that?!?

c.) When the voters in a REAL primary (South Carolina) speak next, Mitt-Witt Romney will discover that even his $36,000 dollar whore (Nikki Haley) isn’t going to save him.

Forget New Hampshire, it’s tainted goods due to ‘Rats playing games and the media fanning the flames.

New Hampshire is an aberration.

-The people in New Hampshire are quirky and don’t vote like the rest of the country.

-Romney’s numbers are an aberration because that is his home state. He will not get into the thirties in any other state.

-Huntsman will not get over 5% in any other state.

-Ron Paul will be significant during the entire campaign, but is not likely to get over 10-15% in the South.

-Santorum should consolidate the conservative vote when they get into the South, in South Carolina and Florida. As people learn more about Newt Gingrich, the less they like him.

Realistically, it’s a two man race between Santorum and Romney — and again, I don’t see Romney getting over 30% outside of New England.

.
