It's 25 degrees here this morning, BRRRR for us...

Why did I move from Washington to Oregon?

Work dried up in the Seattle area as it was becoming Californicated, so we moved to a mid-sized town in Oregon which had a brisk economy; it has slowed down because of 0bozonomics, but now I have a job with a school district til retirement in about 6 years, life's good :-)

I haven’t had a Bud since I got out of college, 50 years ago.

Before the term micro brew/beer came into vogue, I would find local beers to drink where we lived or visited.

The past 20 years have been great with the explosion of excellent micro beers on the West Coast.

We live in wino country, and our core of friends, when they host a dinner/party/barbeque, buy micro beers for me.

Well, I had to run the computer through a chkdisk this morning because Google Chrome fouled up on me so I had to power down the computer with Windows running but everything is well now.

Not much else is happening. It's forecast to be windy later today.

I did download the updates yesterday, 7 in all.

So now you’re cold like the rest of us? tsk...hehe

It is sad what is happening to our economy. Mr Beachy and I were talking about MD trying to raise the tax on gas by 15 cents. Un-ba-lev-i-ball! I think I read that MD is the 6th highest taxed gas state. The govt officials just cannot face cutting spending so they force us to pay more taxes.

ooooh...you’re a little ahead of me in planned retirement. I’ve got 7. I’m counting the days.

Good norning, Mac...**HUGS*...our storm is still lurking. Temps are up, but the high winds haven’t developed yet at my house. Now they are saying up to a foot for the weekend. At least I’ll be home and can shovel and snow blow at intervals to lessent the accumulation on the driveway.
