This whole notion that any candidate should withdraw to help another is flawed. Question: Whom did Michele Bachmann’s votes help? Cain’s votes? Cain’s votes mostly split between Newt and Romney. Typically, in a crowded field, when a candidate drops out their votes scatter to several other candidates, as well as to the rank of the undecided voter.

No, the way a candidate emerges from a pack is to sway voters to come to them, taking support from the others, thereby causing the others to withdraw: cause and effect.

The LamestreamMedia has driven us to civil war, using Zero’s playbook divide and conquer approach.

God help us.

Thanks. I think both Iowa and New Hampshire are a joke. I can’t wait until we get to South Carolina and see the real race begin.

I saw Sean Hannity’s interview with Rick Perry tonight and I’m totally disgusted with Hannity. He did nothing but jab at Perry and tried to totally diminish him and his candidacy.

Perry handled Sean with grace, reason and plain good sense, not walking back any of his anti-Romney remarks.

Some folks just have natural class and self confidence and Hannity isn’t one of them, but Perry is.

Hell no! Why on earth should Perry drop out? Or anyone else for that matter. Do they not have a constitutional right to seek public office?

Perry, Romney and Huntsman are the only ones still in the race with executive experience and Perry is the only one of those two who can point with pride to his record of accomplishments and patriotism.

I tend to agree about Hannity; he ain’t too smart.
But, as for Mr. Perry, I happened to see him interviewed by Her Ladyship Piers tonight (I had lost control of the remote). Going into SC, Perry referred to the NLRB as the NRLB.
Not a big deal at all if it was only his fiftieth blunder.

I saw that too, Catherine. A very low moment for the arrogant Hannity.

“Perry is the only one of the three who can point with pride to his record of accomplishments and patriotism.”

Gardasil for little girls, and muslim culturalism for Texas schools. Are you sure about that record?

“Free college for illegals and EBT users skyrocketing here in TX.”

In Georgia, I can’t pass a grocer, gas station, or drug store, which doesn’t promote “We accept EBT.” Just how much money is on those EBTs? We must be talkin thousands per card.

College for illegals? Perry says it is better than having them on welfare. Well...imagine if illegals didn’t qualify for welfare?

Ouch...I guess you support muslim curriculum in TX schools. And Gardasil for the daughters of Texas.

Are you sure?

Don't worry; no-one's being forced to drop out. What you read are recommendations and suggestions, however partial.

“Well, Fox is openly part of the Romney army now. I have seen Hannity display open dislike of any number of liberals, but never a conservative. Until tonight.”

He and they did the same in ‘08, but were less brazen.

Yep. George Will likened support of Romney to the GOP having found its “Michael Dukakis.” I don`t even think it`s that good. Dukakis at least gave GHWB a fight before imploding at that debate on the death penalty question. I compare Romney more to the pathetic, tired campaign of Bob Dole... never in the fight, but given the nomination because it was “his turn.”

Gingrich was right. Aside from winning the governorship of MA, Romney has made a career of losing elections.

As much as I Like Santorum, I am increasingly suspicious that he is in it as a spoiler for Mittens, and essentially auditioning for Mitt’s VP slot. I really, really hope I am wrong about that. If he suddenly does something to bludgeon Mittens and effectively, genuinely hurt Mittens, then I will revise and extend my remarks. In any event, I have concluded that Rick is not quite ready for prime time.
