Belafonte on Obama: He Doesn’t Deserve a Second Term, Lacks ‘Moral Compass’
Big Hollywood ^ | 1-11-12 | "Hollywoodland"

Posted on 01/11/2012 7:57:14 AM PST by afraidfortherepublic

If Matt Damon is disillusioned with The One, Harry Belafonte is downright dismayed with President Barack Obama’s first term.

The Calypso crooner didn’t hold back during a recent radio chat on “Smiley & West,” co-hosted by Tavis Smiley and Cornel West, even if a rebroadcast of the program snipped out Belafonte’s most punishing comments, according to The Radio Equalizer.

My question is, what legacy will he leave, having the opportunity to serve under such hugely dramatic circumstances and had such a huge impact on the universal state of things … how could he have had such a splendid opportunity to do more than most presidents would have ever been able to do, and he let that opportunity slip away from him.

~snip~

Sounds like someone took that whole Messiah shtick a tad too seriously.

What??? Did someone hit him in the head?

Hollywood clowns would choke on the word “Moral”.

RE: Belafonte on Obama: He Doesn’t Deserve a Second Term

Yeah, but Mr. Day-Oh is still going to VOTE for him. I’d respect him more if he just stayed home.

Someone could post a very humorous You-Tube video of Obama’s failures sung to the tune of “Oh, Yes, We have No Bananas” with a cameo appearance by the late Larry Sinclair.

But he'll vote for Obama anyway... and accuse anyone who doesn't of bigotry. What a scholar...NOT. ;-)

I developed a Pavlovian aversion to this guy after hearing a vicious diatribe he made against President George Walker Bush. I just can’t take him no matter how much he impugns Obama.

He is right but for the wrong reasons.
Their moral compass is pointing south and to him 0bama hasn't moved fast enough in that direction.

Exactly, he isn’t “Left” enough for them, and he hasn’t allied himself officially with the likes of Chavez and Castro, that’s why Belafonte doesn’t like him.

When pure Socialist Belafonte says that Bolshevik Chairman Obama “doesn’t deserve a second term,” I caution all FReepers to be wary of Mr. Banana Head’s comments.

So Obama may be losing the broken-down-old-liberal vote. I’m sure Mr. Day-O will still be pulling the “O” lever

Belafonte on Obama: He Doesn’t Deserve a Second Term, Lacks ‘Moral Compass’

TRANSLATION:

Obama hasn't redistributed wealth fast enough (aka "stealth reparations"), and he hasn't done enough to bring the white culture down.

This is Priceless!

Day-Oh is bemoaing Zero’s lack of moral compass. What he’s really saying is that Zero didn’t apply his leftist, redistibutive, Equality Of Outcome paint by the numbers correctly. Day-Oh’s tweaked because Zero’s screwing up in Implementing Marxism.

Reminds me of King George sacking Top British Generals in the American Revolution because even though they were applying principles from the Wrong playbook, they just weren’t doing it with enough vigor.

This is strange—I agree with Belafonte on Obama! He has no moral compass and shouldn’t get a second term.
That being said—Obama will get 99% of the Black Vote and 75% of the Brown Vote, 110% of the Union vote. There is no way he can lose this one—its Fixed.

Throw in 90% of the Jewish vote as well. For all the talk about Obama losing favor among American Jews because of his anti-Israel, pro-Arab tilt, when push comes to shove, for some crazy, insane reason, American Jews always pull the lever for the ‘Rats. They must think they are still voting for FDR.
