The movie is online.
This is the full 28 minute movie.
Weak, IMO.
His fundamental hypocrisies, liberalism, pettiness and record as a governor are the jugulars. This goes for the capillaries.
Thank you for posting it. It is informative, and once again illustrates how feeble are the attacks on this very fragile target.
My daughter (just 19 years old) and I just watched the video. She said, “he’s disgusting that’s not what Americans do to Americans. My father wouldn’t retire for fear his clients wouldn’t stay with his company without him and he felt a responsibility to his employees and their families. After first suffering a stroke, the job finally killed him. Some people are principled and I wish there were more of them.
Can we get a “mic check” here too?
Please. Didn’t Newt just disavow his Bain attacks earlier today and now his PAC is releasing this flick?
Attacking Romney the chameleon from the left is not going to work. It’s actually helping RINO Mitt, not hurting him. It is forcing conservative talkers like Hannity and Rush to defend him and making him sound like the only in one in the race who understands free markets and capitalism. It is a real shame hearing Perry and Newt sound like occutards using this line of attack. It smacks of utter desperation and it will fail miserably.
Mitt has compared his time at Bain to The “o” taking over private firms in the auto industry. Well. That's a game changer.
MOgirl
OH MY.
This man is disgusting.
I am sending it to EVERYONE I can.
An eye-opener.
There is a difference between being a capitalist and being a corporatist.

This video will be picked apart and denigrated by Romney, Paul and some radio talk show hosts but keep this in mind...THIS IS ONLY AN OPENING SALVO OF WHAT THE LEFT WILL USE TO EASILY DESTROY ROMNEY.
Fortunately for a Romney PAC, they bought our governor in SC for a song...$36,000 and reaped a major endorsement.
Thanks Nikki, see ya’ at your next bid for election.
Your first clue is the use of four examples rather than the full record. Bain probably has done scores if not hundreds of deals, and I'll take a WAG that this lefty cherry-picked the worst outcomes.
I'm going to defer to the Wall Street Journal on Bain:
We have our policy differences with Mr. Romney, but by any reasonable measure Bain Capital has been a net job and wealth creator. Founded in 1984 as an offshoot of the Bain consulting company, Bain Capital's business is a combination of private equity and venture capital. The latter means taking a flyer on start-ups that may or may not pan out, something that neither Mr. Gingrich nor Mr. Obama seem to find offensive when those investments are made by Silicon Valley firms in "clean energy."

None of the above should be interpreted to mean that I'm happy with Mitt, which I am not. I just hate seeing the GOP borrow a page from Occupy Wall Street.
I am just looking at it as a weapon. It is too long, too slow, too conventional and too predictable IMO. The rather naive and unimaginative people here who think utterly unfettered capitalism is ipso facto a good thing won’t be swayed.
Romney and his choir need to be politically obliterated. I don’t think this will do it. Too much mood development, not enough points.
This is a sledge hammer where a jack hammer is needed.
Just my opinion. I certainly support the objective, which is to crush Romney.
"Lately, Bain founder and GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney has found himself in a spirited defense of the private equity industry, doing all he can to spin decades of data which confirm, without failure, that PE Leveraged Buy Outs are nothing but "efficiency maximizing" transactions whose only goal is the "maximization" of EBITDA in the pursuit of dividend recap deals, IPOs or outright sales, while loading up the company with untenable amounts of leverage. All this with a 3-5 year investment horizon, which ignores the long-term viability of a company and seeks to streamline (read fire as many as possible) operations as quickly as possible in the goal of maximizing short-term returns. We wish him luck in his endeavor."
Definitely an academy award contender. Just wished it had talked about those worker’s pension plans that had to be picked up by the taxpayer. Last figure I heard was in the neighborhood of ten million or more. This needs to be played three or four times on prime time all over SC and Florida, with the last being played the night before the voting starts.

Thank you! I plan to watch ASAP.
This is on top of his numerous flip flops on all things Conservative.
This is what vetting looks like to a Republican candidate. His skeletons are numerous and look bad from the Left and the Right end of the spectrum.
Stick a fork in him HE IS DONE!
I doesn’t matter if it’s seen as a hatchet job by some, as I mentioned in my post:
[...THIS IS ONLY AN OPENING SALVO OF WHAT THE LEFT WILL USE TO EASILY DESTROY ROMNEY.]
Romney will be more vulnerable to defeat than McCain ever was especially with so many people who can relate to those same folks in that video.
There is no doubt, Barack Hussein Obama will eviscerate Massachusetts liberal Romney.
America will lose, but Romney will still look forward to eventually going to his very own planet........ where instead of president, he can be a god.
GO NEWT GO.........
Several Conservatives, especially those of us on FR have warned repeatedly about this Corporatist PIG. He is the kind of guy that gives those of us in business a bad name.
There is a thing called ethics. Romney has proved in his business life and his political life that the only person that matters is HIM. That is NOT ethical.
I will watch with interest. I long to see Romney taken down.
Ping!
I am not ok with this. It reeks of Solyndra. Gov dollars given to corp, so investors could make big dollars. In the end, employees and TAXPAYERS get screwed. CRONY CAPITALISM.
GREAT GRAPHIC
mark
Then you might consider deferring to a news piece rather than an op ed.
Regarding Romney's tenure at Bain...."Ten deals produced more than 70% of the dollar gains.
Some of those companies, too, later ran into trouble. Of the 10 businesses on which Bain investors scored their biggest gains, four later landed in bankruptcy court."
I agree. Newt is not my candidate but they are piling on him over doing what he should be doing. Showing what the republicans will get if they nominate Romney. They’re wrong. There are 14 million people out of work right now, how do you think they will vote after seeing this or something like this? The media will be going 24/7 with stuff like this from the day after the convention until election day. It will be a blue sweep like you can not even imagine.
Agreed. It is long, and it brushes a little too closely to the kind of class warfare hussein’s goon squad blathers on about.
But there will be many tools cobbled together for this job. Hate to say it but the ad the DNC put out is snappier and has a bigger stinger.
Newt’s PAC HAD to show this.
Romney is a hot mess of a candidate.
This video is bound to go viral because it is tied to a presidential election, and will do political damage to Romney.
You can already see the Romneybots squirming.
FAUX news is spinning Mitt as a "Venture Capitalist". He was really a "Vulture Capitalist". The earlier thread from The American Thinker had it right. Now I'll go look for it.
Today @ 12:21, SeekandFind.

The money is all that matters on the Hill.
It's Mormon ethics. It's called screw the Gentiles.
Making millions at the expense of the destruction of peoples livelihood, will come back to haunt you if you desire the Office of President. He now needs the vote of the thousands who suffered by his actions, and the millions more who sympathize with them.
I for one think this behavior was sickening, and rescuing companies from bankruptcy wasn't their goal. It seemed to be clearly the opposite by placing them intentionally in that positon for personal monetary gain.
WAKE UP REPUBLICANS!!!!!
Ping
“Attacking Romney the chameleon from the left is not going to work.”
Attacking from the left is a mindless meme some of you have picked up. If you haven’t been around business acquisitions and venture capitalists, you have no idea how bad vulture capitalists can be. Gingrich’s attack has raised legitimate issues of whether Romney gutted some companies, you don’t just walk away with millions and a bankrupt company unless you were pretty cold blooded ruthless.
He likes having that power to fire people.
Its not an attack from the left.
Vulture capitalism is for leftists like Buffett and Icahn. Its disgusting, and we need to disavow it.
One very good thing has come out of this: Limbaugh has been exposed for the jerk he is down deep inside.
The WSJ has always been aligned with those kind of jerks; no surprise.
>> “ The rather naive and unimaginative people here who think utterly unfettered capitalism is ipso facto a good thing wont be swayed.” <<
.
But they might be exposed for what they are at least.
>> “Romney will be more vulnerable to defeat than McCain ever was especially with so many people who can relate to those same folks in that video.” <<
.
Yep! - About 40 million voters that have been negatively affected by that kind of activity in the last 5 years.
