The U.S. Marine Corps today launched an official investigation after footage emerged which showed American soldiers urinating on dead bodies.
The 40-second clip shows four men in combat gear standing over the three corpses with their genitals exposed as they relieve themselves.
At one point one of the men can be heard saying: 'Have a great day, buddy' to laughter from his colleagues.

only pity I have is for the guys that will get in trouble.
I have no pity for the Afghan people. They deserve whatever they get. The only pity I have is for the marines who will be savaged and have their lives ruined by the leftists in America.
I was at Ohare yesterday waiting for my flight. A plane taxi’d up to our gate and was greeted by the firetrucks spraying over the plane.
Obviously a welcome but nobody knew why. A family was escorted in so I suspected it was a retirement or something.
Turned out to be returning military guy. As he exited the gate the little girl, probably 10 yrs old, shouted Daddy! and sprinted to jump into his arms. His two boys were a bit more controlled but did about the same. Most everyone clapped and there weren’t too many dry eyes there.
Thats why I could care less how many dead taliban got pissed on.

Agreed. I'm no expert, but it would seem, if like in the old WWII posters, etc. - the ENEMY is portrayed as evil, hated, dehumanized, etc. and I would imagine our soldiers are trained with that attitude - in large part so a soldier can get past the normal aversion of killing another human being.
Pretty fine line perhaps about being glad that you just took out some bad guys that were planning (or did) kill some of your buddies, and having a celebratory pee.
And I also need to remind myself a lot of these guys are young - and I used to do goofy and stupid stuff too when I was their age.

Embarrassments certainly beat female circumcision, honor killings, homicide bombings, slavery, dancing boys and all the hallmarks of a peaceful religion.
Dead taliban should be grinded up into paste and fed to pigs.
That is a wonderful experience you had at Ohare, driftdriver. Why I don’t care less about the dead taliban getting urinated on is sort of the opposite of your story. How many little boys and girls never got to jump into their Daddy’s arms? How many said good-bye to them through a closed casket? How many parents buried their sons and daughters? So, we do agree.
They can kill and burn Americans, rape and destroy our country with their very presence but, God forbid, they have a pair of pink panties on their head or pee on a corpse.
Maybe they can getthat Gym Teacher from the movie Porky’s to check their Tallywhackers.
Basically I could care les if they pee on them or stuff them with bacon. If a SOB tries to kill me I would piss on him too after I killed him.

Why would the Marine Corps be investigating Soldiers? Aren’t Soldiers in the Army.
