(CNN) – John Bolton, the former U.S. permanent representative to the United Nations, is set to endorse presidential candidate Mitt Romney, a source close to Romney’s presidential campaign said Wednesday.

So if Bolton is a RINO then who isn’t?

You have to go back to blood tests, voting records, DNA samples, etc. It doesn't matter if a person like Bolton has a million posts praising his actual work. If he endorses Romney, well then, he is obviously satan incarnate...

We would starve if we didn't feast on our own...

” Personally, I would prefer Paul to Obama, but as with Obama - I could not be part of electing him. “

As a Christian I do believe we’re a stiffed neck people and therefore are in for some more ______ (fill in the blank), BUT, if we pray and become “wiley as serpents”, there will be made a way in this terrible game of CHICKEN. ONE of our conservatives can surface. He must, if we pray.

God be with us, and that man. Whoever he is.

Everyone of them but Paul will eventually get in bed with Romney. And I’m not 100% sure that Paul won’t.

There is only one party in this country. It’s called the “we’re smart and the voters are naive” party.

Read the thread and buck up. We aren’t participating in “operation chaos, Republican style”. Here anyway.

What everyone is beating around the “bush” about is this: What do we do? Are we all advocating for an armed revolution? And unarmed revolution? An “occupy” something?

What are we thinking?

And who has the courage to say it? And better yet DO it?

God help us

Ron Paul is in my estimation a candidate who can never make inroads with much of the middle working class.

He has enthusiastic, naive, young and outlier support.

His worldview is dangerously flawed. The military establishment is still largely Conservative, and that is our ace in the hole in this mess. We cannot forget that- or we do so at our own peril.

The Patriots are seeking a leader- they override the college students and libertarians.

Agreed - but I think the important part is "with us." I will not bow to any man, and think too many people do for their own self interests. God gave us our gifts to use, not to surrender or give up to any other leader.

Yea, you can saw your arm off or chop it off. Or, you can choose to resist.

You can go down fighting, or just go down.

Peace, FRiend.

If Gingrich and Santorum dropped out, Perry could win. If Perry and Gingrich dropped out, Santorum could win. If we all supported Perry, he’d be ahead in the polls and Gingrich would be down. If we all supported Santorum, he’d be ahead in the polls.

What’s the point? There are three candidates, and there are people supporting each, and refusing to support the others. That is the problem , not that the candidates don’t know when to quit, but that the supporters haven’t given up. If Perry supporters gave up, he’d poll 1% and it wouldn’t matter if he was in or out.

The real problem is that a lot of people once considered on our side, like Haley, Coulter, Bolton, and others, aren’t backing the conservative candidates. Why?

One “bush” posed simply theoretically, by onename, was that in a worse case scenario, to not vote on the presidential ballot.

My point is to hold the line and stay with our friendly competition between the three conservative candidates, between Newt, Santorum and Perry, leaving the Establishment to continue their current panic that Ron Paul is definitly gaining on Romney.

Let them be forced (soon) to join forces with us, and dump Romney, or stay their course with Romney and risk Paul getting a pleurality and a brokered convention. See how they like Paul pressing their banish button. They will come to us is my bet, if they want to survive.

A cogent assessment there 1776, but the last time I agreed with a similar assessment, I was attacked like a rabid dog by one of our more vociferous ones. He’ll be back, probably taking a well-needed nap today!

"Today Newt said that if the three conservatives do not consolidate so that Romney does not face a divided opposition in SC. Romney could become the default nominee as soon as SC."

And Newt want that consolidation to go to only him, right?

Because, as much as we might like, the world really isn't black and white and they know it. Our job is to push the tide to white, even if we need to cross a few streams of grey along the way.
