One of the jobs of the President is to manage the federal government. If a guy can't even organize a campaign, why would we believe that he can run the federal government? This isn't the first state that Santorum has screwed up in. His campaign has also messed up in VA, IL, TN, and DC.

In tennesse you can appoint delegates before or you can have them after, i think it is the same in ohio. So try and get it straight .

How could we have such a bunch of inept candidates at such a critical mass moment in our nations history?? Makes you wonder if it isn’t by design.

RINOS are disgusting. They changed the rules in Va at the last minute—now this kind of BS.
It is NOT NECESSARY to have the Leftmost candidate possible in order to win—quite the contrary.

With RINORomney as candidate—the GOP will likely be finished and go down like the Whigs.

3rd party—anybody else??

The Democrat party gets around the worst effects of these rules by MAKING SURE all their candidates get their 1 thousand or 10 thousand or 50 thousand signatures on nominating petitions, or that they've filled out the forms for delegate designation, or..... name the rule, the Democrat's very own Debbie Wasserman Schultz, or any of her predecessors, have done all these things.

Your boy Priebus IS NOT DOING THEM.

One of the purposes of the RNC is to make sure these apparent screw ups do not happen.

I think he needs to resign so we can replace him before more primaries happen. He is destroying the party.

"Makes you wonder if it isn’t by design."

This is one way the party controls the game.

No last minute rule changes in OH, IL, TN, and DC. Is competency too much to ask from someone seeking the highest office in the land?

I have no “acolytes” on this forum. I’m a “lone wolf” here. Your comment seems to infer I’m involved in some conspiracy or something. Sorry if I misinterpreted, but I wasn’t sure how to take your comment.

It's not the job of the RNC to ensure that each and every campaign is doing their job. Why was he the only campaign to screw up in Ohio?

Since the article you posted is short on facts, can you explain what Santorum did or didn’t do to cause this problem? And please don’t resort to insults and mud slinging.

One more time, the DEMOCRATS don't have these screwups because their party works for them.

The failure is with the party leadership.

Each campaign is supposed to file slates of delegates and alternative delegates in each congressional district. Santorum's campaign failed to file slates of delegates and alternative delegates in three of Ohio's 16 congressional districts. If there is some kind of sinister conspiracy, it did not effect Gingrich, Romney, Paul, Perry, or Huntsman.

Even worse, they don't even see it as a failure. It would seem that they have deliberately set the system up to favor well-funded establishment-approved candidates.

They actually CAN’T see it as a failure ~ they are blinded by their own vision of class warfare ~ just as badly as the Leftwingtard ideologues who run San Francisco and Berkely.

Because Ron Paul is such an "establishment-approved" candidate. If his crazy squad can meet the ballot requirements, why can't Santorum's campaign.
