It's because the PERVERTED FAGGOTS that "run" the "Fashion Industry" want EVERY one of thier "Models" to look like a 12 Year Old boy because THAT is what they pine after!

then women need to not buy so darn much. and only clothes that flatter, do not make women look like 12 year old boys.
To: US Navy Vet
Yes and yes. Most red-blooded, heterosexual men prefer women that look like women, not pre-pubescent boys.

“...disparity between sizes of models and real women “
So models aren’t real women?

How many people lived in Sodom and Gomorrah and have we exceeded the threshold they exceeded that caused God to destroy them (and save Lot and family)?

The magazine reveals that some of todays plus size models are wearing the same size as models Christie Brinkley, Paulina Porizkova and Cindy Crawford at the height of their fame in the 1990s. Considering that these three were not even close to being mildly chubby let alone "plus sized", that is a bit disturbing.

Size 0 is the new 2, 2 is the new 4 and 6 is the new 14.

In the January issue of PLUS Model Magazine, plus size model Katya Zharkova and a straight size model are seen in the nude in an attempt to open the minds of the fashion industry," which is stepping further away from reality, according to PLUS founder and editor-in-chief, Madeline Figueroa Jones. Zharkova, 28, wears a size 14I remember not too long ago reading about a model who was 5'10" and 157 lbs being told she was too heavy to be a plus-size model.

Twenty years ago the average fashion model weighed 8 percent less than the average woman. Today she weighs 23 percent less
More like women have gotten fatter, not that models have gotten skinnier. We used to joke about “Muffin Tops” in the 90’s but now women, and men, are simply obese.

Looking at the
not safe for work pics (particularly the last one), the "plus" model is normal-size, while the "regular" model looks like she was just released from a nazi concentration camp.

I used to work for a Garment Manufacturer. One of their divisions was exceptionally high end stuff, mostly for women.
The Division had an "Employees only" sale - got rid of samples, one-offs, and the like. I mentioned it to one of my co-workers, thought that she might like a deal or two.
She thought I was joking. The company only manufactured sizes 0, 1, 2, and 3. My co-worker was, I dunno, "normal"? I didn't ask, but def. not in the 0-3 size range.
And you're right, the place was populated by bitchy Asian women, and even bitchier gays, from the owner right on down. They liked me, OK, though, because I fixed their computers. Before me, if a computer didn't work right, they unplugged it, threw it in a closet, and bought a new one. They had $200-300K in wasted equipment when I got there, most all of it easily reparable...... Place must have just about had a license to print money.

You are correct. I also don’t believe for one moment that Cindy Crawford, or any of the other models listed was ever a size 14.
