What exactly do you think happens in war? Are you aware of the horrors the muslim jihadists inflict on others and themselves? And a soldier treating them as the crap they are is a problem for you?
A little perspective here: An enemy of America engaged in an attempt to kill American soldiers is instead killed by them, they gives them a liquid “FU” in the heat of battle... and this is somehow a war crime?
IMO this whole ‘civilized’ warfare crap is insane.
And yes, we have to descend to their level. They do not understand anything else. Let them understand that they won’t get the PC treatment that results in American soldiers in Leavenworth every time they complain. Let them understand they are animals to be treated as such until they choose to act like a civilized human being.
At that point, we can be civilized too. When the bodies stop hanging from bridges and girls get to keep their privates intact, we’ll do lunch.

Can you miss the point? Why be disappointed? Would you be disappointed if the soldier urinated on any other garbage? Achmed the dead terrorist is a pile of garbage. Everything he represents is evil. Everything he fights, oppresses and kills for is evil. You accept evil or deny it.
If a demon from the pit of hell rose up and was urinated on by a US Marine, I would fail to see the difference. Nor would I be disappointed.

This thread reminds me of Monty Python’s “The meaning of Life” movie where the Brits in Africa are getting slaughtered by ZULUs/bodies everywhere and the ‘civilized’ commanders/civilians are casually drinking tea and tut-tut’ing the problems. Then one wakes up missing a leg to a tiger attack and sits reading the morning paper and drinking tea rather than addressing the actual problem.

As an Army infantry veteran, and a Christian, I disagree. Gee, I even talked to my Force Recon Marine with 18 years in the Corps brother, and he agrees with me! I guess he is a joke too?

What is wrong in the ME theater is that we have not come down with such force that the enemy does not quake in their boots every time they hear us coming or see us. They learn war from birth and fight their whole lives, with a Total War approach to life. We treat war as a skilled profession, learned and practiced for a while as adults.
Panetta’s smooth hands and fingers, along with almost all of the DC crowd’s and their children’s, need to go fight themselves and get back to us before they need smelling salts to overcome the vapors from what our guys do or don’t do—let alone what the enemy and their toddlers do as a matter of course.
Case in point: many in the US, its pols and newsmen do not report and do cave to muslim demands because they are afraid of what muslims will do to them personally. That is what muslims have already done to us here.
I'm perfectly fine with them killing or enemies. I don't expect them to be particularly respectful about it. As many have pointed out, the Taliban is the scum of the earth.
But the measure of a person's character is how they comport themselves, and this was childish and disappointing, as is your defense of such behavior.
