I am trying to work and listen at the same time, but is anybody else hearing this??
Obama is asking Congress to reinstate his Executive authority to streamline six agencies into one, so he could "help businesses grow, save businesses time, save businesses money."
He's making it sound like the best thing since sliced bread. News media is eating it up.
"Reform and remake our government so that it works. This should not be a partisan issue."
You’re not overreacting. Scary does not even begin to describe this plan to consolidate and centralize all power in him.
In addition, the choice of agencies to be done away with is pretty strange.
I think the Commerce Dept. is one of the few that have resisted Barry, or at any rate, whose data he has not been able to corrupt and manipulate. And, of course, it handles the census.

All the States have to say is no. Either recognize the Speaker as President or ‘disrecognize’ Zero’s govt as illegitimate, i.e. no one has to send them tax money, among other things.
Exactly what agencies is he wanting to combine? If he’s wanting to combine the CIA, FBI, ATF and all those other ABC agencies into one, I smell the American version of the Gestapo and SD.

I thought it was the fedgov that sent it back to the states and threatens to withhold it if they don’t play ball.
Yeah, that is why Montana ended up with a 55 mph speed limit with a five dollar (not on your record) speeding ticket. The FedGov was withholding funds.
I stated early in 2009 that I had concerns about whether there would be an election in 2012. After the Tea Party stormed the gates in 2010 I felt better about the direction we were heading but I am now back to my original theory. I believe there will be some kind of financial/international crisis or a major civil unrest (Occupy anyone?) which will necessitate the “temporary” suspension of many of our freedoms and rights.
More and more people, who once scoffed at my views, are staring to see that it’s tipping from unthinkable to possible....we haven’t hit probable yet but this summer should be very interesting!

When I think of all the money they’ve stolen thus far, I think they took their funding for anything they want to do already making Congress almost irrelevant. Between this guy as POTUS, his E.O.’s, and his own stash of cash, his command of the military, it looks as though there isn’t much anybody can do about that wee birdie he is flashing in our faces.
Obama has been shredding the Constitution with increasing regularity. Boehner huffs and puffs, then devolves into tears and bends over. Why would you assume that someone in the GOP will suddenly stand up and demand that the President actually follow the laws of the land?

Of course he is starting with the SBA. It is fascism. You want to start a business...watch ...you have to get permission from the SBA by summer. You have to run it like they tell you, hire who they tell you, pay what they tell you or you won’t be able to get any business loan from the banks or grants to start-up. Watch.
Right and this is not a smart and fair game/challenge between gentlemen/women but a tough fight against agressive and cynical liars.

The House is where Articles of Impeachment originate. Where is the GOP? I know the Senate will not convict put what the hey - put him in the history books as being IMPEACHED.

People forget that the NAZI’s (as well as the fascist in Italy) rose to power not because of a social or nationalistic agenda, but because of their ECONOMIC agenda.
All the other stuff (the racism, ultra-nationalism, and war) emerged later (after it was too late for the people to realize who they had put in power). The original reason the NAZIs came to power was pure economics.
Especially on Friday the 13th!
