Cheve Suburbans and Tahoes are built on a Cheve p/u frame so they are trucks. I don't know about the vehicle you posted.

So you get to determine need and what vehicles other people can own. Who do you think you are, Obama?

That doesn’t make it a Tundra, though. (Thought it was a Highlander, but that’s a Sequoia.) Different vehicles - the Tundra has a stick axle rear, for starters, while the Seq has an independent rear suspension and the major frame changes to use it. The Seq is also much heavier than an unladen Tundra.

The Sequoia he posted is built off a Tundra frame to start but the frame is very different from about the midpoint back to accomodate the independent rear suspension it has than the Tundra doesn’t. Not exactly the same vehicle at all.

Update:

Actor Gene Hackman was hit by a car while riding his bike in Islamorada on Friday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The 81-year-old actor was biking at mile marker 88.7, along the “Old Road” when he was injured.

Because of the remote location of the incident, Hackman was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, said publicist Susan Madore. Hackman was released after a few hours with “very minor bumps and bruises,” Madore said.

The Oscar-winning Hackman, who appeared in Hoosiers, The French Connection and Poseidon Adventure, regularly goes fishing with former UM and Dolphins coach Jimmy Johnson in Islamorada, where both men own homes

JJ’s boat is called the Three Rings, looks like about a 48 ft Bertram or Hatteras

Good news about Hackman injuries being minor, he doesn’t deserve to go out that way

With a different body style and model name. The Highlander is a mid-size SUV built on a Camry chassis, but they don't call a Highlander a Camry. (Well...normal people don't, anyway.) Same thing here. The body style is what they're naming, not the chassis.

Face it, pal...Gene Hackman got hit by somebody driving a pickup, not an SUV. Period. There ain't nothin' under the sun that's going to change that unalterable reality.

Mr Hackman was injured by the hardware of a Toyota Tundra platform, regardless if it was cutely decorated as a pickup truck or an SUV.
