One thing is for sure. Gasoline can no longer be stored for any length of time...And it collects water and damages fuel systems to boot because of the ethanol. I am sure this will make it even worse. Lots of Bad fuel has to be disposed of every year.

Perhaps the best way to dispose of that bad fuel would be in the form of Molotov cocktails delivered en masse to the local EPA office? Maybe tape some of those new squiggly lightbulbs to the outside too.
I DID NOT suggest that they be ignited - yet.

And given how many of the products of commerce are physically transported across this country by diesel, that increased cost also bites the consumer in the wallet when they get to the cash register.
"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."
