Speculation on Michelle Obama for Senate in 2016

Speculation on Michelle Obama for Senate in 2016 Jeff Poor - The Daily Caller 1 hr 29 mins ago

In November 2016, Illinois voters will go to the polls to decide who they want to occupy the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Republican Sen. Mark Kirk. And although it is a long way off, could one of the names on the ticket be first lady Michelle Obama?

At the end of this weekend’s broadcast of “The McLaughlin Group,” show host John McLaughlin made that bold prediction, saying a Michelle Obama run for the seat her husband won in 2004 would happen.

“Michelle Obama will run for the United States Senate in 2016 and she will be thereby mimicking, if that’s not the right word [then] duplicating the career of Hillary Clinton,” McLaughlin said.

Hmmm, couple this with their interest in the old Hepburn estate in CT. Interesting.

It’s going to happen.....the Obama’s marriage is as much of a scam as the Clintons, but Michelle, like Hillary stays in it to further her future ambitions.

That’s the sad thing, even after Obama is out of office, they wont go away.

I say she won’t do it. It’s too much work and the pay and perks aren’t as generous.

I’m sure she’s eager to explain her $300,000 salary at the CU hospital which required her to show up now and then or, why she lost her license to practice law which liberal support site Snopes reported as procedural.

Unless Romney is King. Then he will appoint Ann Coulter or Barbra Bush.

You think the press will actually question her about this?

Don't forget, like any affirmative action baby, she automatically gets 10 points in the polls just for showing up and filling in the application.

Although the thought of charming and mild-mannered Michele Obama as a U.S. Senator is depressing, I think it could happen. Hillary Clinton - with no real qualifications but a philandering husband (who happened to be the POTUS) that humiliated her for all the world to see - won a New York senate seat almost by acclimation and Illinois is just as much a liberal Democrat-run state as N.Y. If Barack Obama loses this election - as is likely - electing Michele Obama as a senator representing Illinois will be considered a consolation prize. IF Obama wins re-election, Michele Obama winning an election to the U.S. senate will be considered a continuation of the Obama ‘dynasty’. Of course, either way, her election would be a travesty but then, so was the 2008 election of the anti-American Kenyan Marxist we now call President Obama.

Another reason why Moochelle must be SAVAGED in 2012: for her lavish spending, unprecedented staff, dictatorial food edicts, and her pre-FLOTUS “work” with HCA and Chicago Hospital and Medicare fraud.

Cannot figure how ANYONE could ever call here angry ....

FLASHBACK:

http://www.thedailybeast.com/newsweek/2008/02/16/barack-s-rock.html

Since then, she has largely left the details of the campaign to her husband and his political team. Michelle does not sit in on strategy sessions, vet speeches or spend hours on the phone fund-raising. “I hate fund-raising,” she tells NEWSWEEK. “Haaaaate it. Hate, hate it.” Politics and policy animate her—like her husband, she turned away from a lucrative law career to work in public service. One late night in Iowa, she stayed up on the campaign bus, waxing to NEWSWEEK about the dangers of cynicism in politics. Barack, exhausted, was flaked out on the couch half-dozing. But she has no secret dreams of seeking office herself. When a reporter recently joked that she could run for Barack’s Senate seat if he were elected president, Michelle made a face of mock disgust. “Ugh,” she grimaced. “No, thank you.”

While neither you nor I may vote for Mr. Obama, it may be too soon to count him out of the race. He has a lot of money, strong and dedicated supporters, no ethical constraints, and sly, cynical, brilliant and ruthless advisers. Should Mr. Romney win the Republican nomination, with the help of Democrat and ‘Independent’ voters but without the support of most Republicans, Mr. Obama could be an easy winner when the aforementioned Democrats and ‘Independents’ return to their gloomy fold.
Thus, Mr. Obama may consider appointing Mrs. Obama to the Supreme Court. As a Princeton graduate and Harvard Law graduate she would be well qualified and assured of the support of the Democrat Senate with only token opposition from several Republican Senators. And the Supreme Court does not have to worry about elections, fund raising and all the trench politics of Senate races.

That is ridiculous! IF we ever get them out of the White hut I highly doubt they will stay in America for long. They will retire overseas, Spain most likely, next door to the Saudi palace there, access their offshore accounts and just sit back and spend what they stole from taxpayers.

There needs to be a way to flag a headline as barfable without even reading the headline.

Just seeing it was seriously nausea inducing!

I hope the voters aren’t quite that stupid...

Never happen. She would have to be somewhere at a certain time. IE: Work

And why would she even consider this? They have stolen so much cash that they never have to work again. They have access to $100’s of millions.

She must not have read the job description very well. There’s no free housing, no servants, no limousines, no private airplane, no lobster, no weygu beef, no Halloween parties filled with celebrities, no free ball gowns, no free shoes, no free liquor, and no free vegetable garden. She’ll have to take mooching to a whole new level to maintain the status quo in the Senate.
