WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Demonstrators from the Occupy movement rallied outside the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday to protest against the influence of money on Congress.
In a sign of renewed vigor for the Occupy movement, which staged protests in many U.S. cities last fall, several hundred protesters gathered on the Capitol's West Front Lawn to greet members of Congress returning from a holiday break with a day of rallies and protests they said would include attempts to occupy lawmakers' offices.
Occupy protesters from around the country who gathered on the rain-soaked lawn carried signs saying, "Face it liberals, the Dems sold us out," "Congress for sale" and "Congress is not for sale."
"It's important to let people know we're not going to take it anymore. People are really mad about the way things are going and we want Congress to understand that," said protester James Cullen, a 30-year-old unemployed social worker from Greenbelt, Maryland.

Occupy protesters . . . carried signs saying, . . . "Congress for sale" and "Congress is not for sale." Print shop screwed up the order.

Can we get a political cartoonist to draw a sleeping Occupod with the sign “unoccupied” on his head?

They are against money? So how did they pay for their transport, meals and rooms in a high dollar town like D.C.? Somebody ponied up a fair amount of cash for this demonstration. Follow their money.

Maybe this dope should be protesting the moron who told him going to college for this job was a good idea.
Of course they are not listening. No one cares about whiny children to lazy to move out of their parents basement. You morons couldn't even get the year right for your posters for crying out loud.

I think the occupy movement will explode this spring and summer...and turn violent Chicago/Watts style.
I say this in the vein of Gerald Celente’s quote: When people lose everything, and have nothing left to lose, they lose it.
Regardless of what you hear, more and more people are reaching the end of their rope. When this hits critical mass, it is going to be very bad, followed by war.

Print shop screwed up the order. Too many people working there with little understanding of English, probably. It happens...

This group finally starts to protest Washington and all they have to offer are the rants of an unemployed social worker? A person who actually went to college to learn how to hand out other peoples (taxpayer) money for a living? Way to set your sights high James! You should expect big things in life (and a lifetime of student loan debt) with goals like that!
They have also just revealed that OWS is nothing more than a lobby group itself. When they make statements such as, "Face it liberals, the Dems sold us out," they show how polarizing OWS really is. It's goals are nothing more than another money grab for the greedy left. When the TEA party protested Obamacare, they fought for the good of the country and NOT a political party.

They need to go occupy the House of the Halfrican. He’s at the root of most of their issues (and funding).

The democrat party used the OWS crowd just like they used the old lady who camped out in front of Bushes Crawford house.
They will forget them just as fast, ask the old lady who takes her phn. calls now.
She ain’t sipping koolaid with Nancy, Nancy gave her the whole jug.

You Libbies need to get it through your heads: your pols don't care about you any more than they care about us. You're disposable.
They care about money and power first (as do a lot of the Repub pols). You're just a way for them to obtain power.
If your favored pols gain absolute power, you'll do as you're told, and like it....or else.
You're disposable.

"Regardless of what you hear, more and more people are reaching the end of their rope. When this hits critical mass, it is going to be very bad, followed by war."Add the Newsweek cover to this, and that's a lot of hate ratcheting up. The leftists have been cranking up the heat for years, with the bland assumption that Conservatives will NEVER snap and go Rambo on their vegetarian Commie fannies.
We'll find out, this summer and fall when the DNC steals the election...

We may also find out if it is apparent to the rank and file rabid Obama supporters that he will lose.

Seems to me Obama. Peelousy and Dingy delivered a lot in 2 short years:
- The framework for socialized medicine.
- Unchained FedGov form the budgetary process
- Unbridled spending
- Openly Gay in the military, DADT repeal
- Porkulous 1 & 2
- Ended the US occupation of Iraq prematurely
- 2 wildly socialist/communist Supreme Court appointments
Just what the hell do they want? Communism?
