Three beheadings in two different states and they happened here in the United States, not Mexico.
Former DEA supervisor Phil Jordan says all three beheadings have cartel written all over them. They happened in Arizona and Oklahoma in the past year.
A murder mystery is now unraveling on a stretch of North Reservation Road in Tucson, Ariz. County workers found a headless man lying on the side of the road Jan. 6. The man's hands and feet were reportedly missing, too.
"It would lead me to believe the message wanted to be sent. This is one of the ways they do it in Mexico, Colombia and other places," says Jordan.
Jordan says the cartels are getting bolder in carrying out their beheadings across the border. He says we only used to see these crimes in Mexico.
"They don't have any borders," says Jordan.
More than 600 miles from the border, a 19-year-old human trafficking victim was found beheaded in Oklahoma. Carina Saunders was stuffed into a bag and left in a grocery store parking lot.
"People know if they get on the wrong side of the fence, they'll be dealt with," says Jordan.
The police chief in the area says two men running the trafficking ring killed Saunders to send a message to the other victims. Jordan says the cartels' calling card is all over this case. Trafficking and smuggling are their top moneymakers. Revenge is the price of doing business.
"Definitely a cartel hit," says Jordan.

Knew it was coming. Haven’t heard a word from MSM.
Diversity is strength. Vibrancy is in. White bread is out.
Did “we” know about these US beheadings?
Viva la Raza! Viva Mexico! Cue up the Mexican national anthem.
And unless we nip it in the bud the cartels will think they can get away with it, and the problem will multiply. It will hit the fan the second the average Joe realizes he’s in a war zone and the cops aren’t doing anything but roughing up old ladies for minor housing code infractions and shooting pet deer the DNR deems diseased.
The cops want to play paramilitary rambos, now they got their target rich environment. Step up boys or it’s going to come back around hard.
What’s that in the road? A head?
And remember kids... all cultures are equal.
When do the letters start to the local and major news networks telling them to shut up or be shut up? When the random roadblocks and beheadings take place on our highways and roads?
Enemies. Kill them.
When will the apologists for murder apologize to Brewer?
Beheadings cutting off feet and hands Nothing to it. If they really wanted to send a message they would have pissed on the bodies.
Right around the corner from where I lived in Tucson 20 years ago. That used to be a very quiet community. I it actually called Picture Rocks.
“...aren’t interested in random beheadings”?!
Well, THAT gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling!
Excuse me, but ignoring an increasing problem that is no longer confined to Mexico is NOT the way to make it stop.
And our law enforcement is, where?
That kinda gives a new meaning to the old hippie advice: be a head!
It’s a good development, in a way.
Those of us who hate the euphemisms and silly metaphors in the business world applaud.
Now when you hear in the office, as we often do, that ‘heads will roll’,
you will know for certain that, well, heads will roll!
