If you think you’ve already heard everything there is to know about Mitt Romney, think again. A 200-page document that appears to be Sen. John McCain’s entire 2008 election-year opposition research file on the former Massachusetts governor hit the Internet with a vengeance Tuesday evening. And it’s an eye-opener.
The file explores everything from the assessed value of Romney’s house (“$3.162 million”) to his views on the Boy Scouts’ ban of homosexuals (“publicly opposed … in 1994 and 2002 campaigns”). It was made public Tuesday on the social media website Buzzfeed, although it appears to have been accessible online for two months.
The document, given the name “The Romney Book,” was viewed less than 100 times on the page where it was originally uploaded by its anonymous leaker on November 11.

Make sure you read it, it is devestating! If this is real and the quotes etc can be substatiated Romney is DOA for the convention.
I’m only 50 pages into it, and it reads like he wants to be Soetero’s running mate.
After thumbing through this I must say I am impressed by his educational achievements. Of course, he’s still a dick.
I’d guestimate his IQ in the 120-130 range based on what I see here. That means he is a very gifted individual intellectually. People of this sort are always stunned when they run into someone like Newt who is much smarter...they are not used to being so outclassed.
With all this to work with the dems would destroy Romney in the general...it would be hopeless for Romney.

I’m thinking that Romney’s charitable contributions might be what’s keeping him from making his tax returns public. Donations to Planned Parenthood, for example, would be very problematic.
Hope they fact-check it diligently to make sure it is not a poison pill!

Much of his tax returns showing $4 million + to the LDS church in the past 5 years is on Drudge now.
I figgered he’d tithe big time to the Mormon church. I would like to know where else his money goes :-)
Part of it is giving the LDS multiple shares and stakes in companies owned by Bain, including Burger King, Dominoe’s and many more.
China won’t own us — the LDS will. Lol.
That’s intersting, but I’d like to see if he spreads any money around to anything that’s not related to the Mormon church. Color me curious :-)
Of course they won’t report on it, until AFTER he gets the nomination, then they will destroy him. It’s up to us to get that out there now, before the elections in SC and FL. Only a liberal would vote for him if they read that. He’s despicable.

It says that Romney remained CEO through 2001. It says that even in about 2007 that 75% of the partners had had Romney as boss.

Anyway, points well taken on the SC primary. Only a few delegates have been awarded in Iowa and NH so technically, this race is still wide open. Just think, if Newt was to win SC decisively and collect most of the delegates, he will go into Florida well ahead of Romney in terms of delegates.
My only concern is that none of the non-Romney candidates have much money and organization behind them beyond Florida. So it is very important that a non-Romney candidate do well in SC and Florida so that February can be dedicated to raising money and building a national organization in time for Super Tuesday (March 6).

I’m pretty depressed today. Yesterday I talked to a couple of people (friends and family) that I know are good conservative tea party types - they are completely in for Romney because they believe he is the only one that can beat Obama. I actually got into an argument with one of them - he was adamant about it & calling ME a traitor because I said I wouldn’t vote for Romney. This man was formerly all in for Rick Perry. I know if I would tell him about this document, he would say that getting it out there would cause Obama to win.
The tide is turning and I don’t know if it can be turned back in time - most people ignorantly follow whatever FOX tells them - and think they’re being good conservatives by doing it. I’m afraid the fix is in.
Why in the world has this document been on the internet for two months & we are just now hearing about it? I think, once again, the GOP has decided that they want to lose another presidential election - so they are forcing Romney on us. THE GOP DOESN’T WANT TO CHANGE A THING. They like it just the way it is.
What we should be focusing on big-time, is uprooting the kudzu in Congress - that’s where the garbage is. We’re going to be stuck with four more years of Obama, I can just feel it in my bones. God help us.
