Here goes Obama attacking the Conservative Party and Stephen Harper again.
he was forced to take sides.......... he has chosen the hippies over the working man...... are the union bretheren paying attention?
Jobs killer Kenyan!
Obama is passing the buck to Hillary...He’s a master bus driver!!
State Department? Interesting. The last time a Clinton made a move like this it benefited the Chinese.
In other news, Steven Chu has predicted $5 gasoline this summer.
FUBO! Quit bending over for environmental wackjobs with trust funds.
Regardless, it looks like China will be “Barry, Barry” happy with their Canadian oil.
Purposeful? Now that is a good question...hmmm!
He’s got Canada pi***** on this one...our neighbor, our ally, our biggest trading partner
Obama gives the Republicans a gift in an election year. We have the highest gas prices on record for a January with many experts predicting $5 a gallon gas by May, and this imbecile kills a pipeline deal that would bring more refinable oil to the US Gulf Coast? Obama and his minions constantly obsess about the Republicans saying they want him to fail. No one seems to want Obama to fail more than Obama! This would have created 10s of thousands of jobs, but Obama says “No thanks!” So while the media obsesses about Romney’s taxes or Gingrich’s proposals to put kids who want to work or about whatever else they chose to demagogue Republicans about, we have the serial killer of American jobs, Barack Obama, killing yet more US employment-—and putting the US economy in even deeper jeopardy with record gas prices. What a dunce.
Hussein hates America, as this is more evidence.
However, the kiss ass media will begin reporting Hussein wants to increase domestic oil drilling...which is supposed to circumvent Hussein’s miserable failure on the Keystone issue.
Note to the MSM: Nice try. SNORT.
So the Department of State is running our national energy policy now? Those dopes over at Foggy Bottom couldn’t find their way out of a paper bag.
Everyone has to drink the Koolade. Just like the People's Temple and Jim Jones.
More proof this administration does not work for us.
If none of the GOP candidates brings up Keystone pipeline in the next debate, I am walking away from the “party of stupid”.
—he was forced to take sides...—
Yup. In an election year they forced him to put his money where his mouth is. And now everyone knows.
The biggest problem Obama has this election cycle is that this time he is a known quantity.
He will not finish his term. (IMO)
I call this treason...
Anyone taking a poll that before the elections can be held, some major event "occurs", requiring a suspension of the constitution and assumption of dictatorial powers to "save the republic"? Can you say "Preemptive Nuke Strike"?
Hold onto your butts, the next few months are going to get real interesting...
Is there one Democrat senator or member of congress who will go on record opposing this decision? When hell freezes over...
So now Obama can tell the Unions, “I didn’t let you down, it was that Pesky ol’ State Dept.” A contingent from Canada has already went to China to make plans to sell them the oil. China will probably make the pipe and ship it to Canada.
..and the Indonesians...........remember the coal.......and the Cole..........
I have not heard one single candidate for president bring up gas prices!
They need to hang that issue around obamas neck.
$3.17 Tuesday AM in South Fort Worth TX.
$3.29 Wednesday AM same store 24 hours later.
Just the plan to run the Keystone pipeline would cause oil pricing to plunge.
We need cheap fuel, change out the resident of the white hut!!!
I stand by my post. GRRRR!
Because the pipeline crosses and international border, the state department gets to approve or rejected based upon the "best interests of the nation".
It is really the best leverage he has to stop it. Otherwise it would only be rerouted but not stopped.
That's exactly what is going to happen. By the time the summer rolls around the Dems and their propaganda arm--otherwise known as the mainstream media--will have a large percentage of brain-dead Americans convinced that this is the fault of House Republicans.
Rick Perry: Americans should be ‘unhinged’ by decision to reject Keystone pipe path
January 18, 2012
Asked about the imminent decision expected from the State Department that sources say will call for a rejection of the Keystone XL Pipeline from Canada to Texas, Republican presidential candidate and Texas Gov. Rick Perry said it’s no surprise, but it doesn’t make the decision any better.
“It doesn’t surprise me but it’s again — the president’s focused more on the next election than on the next generation.
“Getting this country independent of foreign sources of crude from countries that are not our friends is really problematic. So this Canadian oil, there’s a possibility we could lose it to China with that decision so I hope Americans will really become unhinged with that decision because it is a really bad decision for our country, for energy independence and sends a horrible message at a time that were headed to $4 and $5 oil or excuse me $4 or $5 gasoline, to have a neighbor who’s willing to sell us crude that is available.”
Under what authority does the State Department do this? This reeks of the corruption that “free trade” has spread throughout our government.
Constitutionally speaking it is Congress who should decide.
Bachmann spoke on the subject of gas prices fairly often, IIRC.
So now both Obama and Hillary are tainted with this decision.
But the Keystone XL Pipeline is horrid... the "pipeline of death."
What is the difference?
